If mother share don't move, rise in son is almost certainly a pump and dump scam.

Deadline for Gamuda to accept Selangor's takeover is Oct 7 this year!
2016-08-05 15:50 | Report Abuse
This is ex-Mr Universe's stock. SPLASH hangs over Gamuda. If forced takeover of SPLASH at RM250 Million, Gamuda will have to write down of about RM1 billion divestment loss! This should wipe out any profit it may make from the MRT or even Penang's MRT! When looking at recommended target price, always look for any downside. Otherwise your wealth will be transferred to those who recommend the stock at high TP!

War of attrition between bulls and bears?!

The price is being compressed at the moment for collection purpose by some syndicate!

I therefore expect AAX to recover its listing price of RM1.25/share.
2016-07-26 10:31 | Report Abuse
The other downward pressure on crude price is the increasing use of green energy as technology improves. AAX is likely in profit recovery trend, especially as world tourism, especially Chinese tourism, is on the rise!

Crude price cannot stay above USD50 for long because it will make shale oil production profitable. Shale oil output will then rise and price will fall again. In the medium term, crude price will go down as efficiency of shale oil production increases. If I remember correctly, AAX stated in its last quarter report that it had already hedged it fuel price at USD 56/barrel for 70% of its needs for one year.

Bonus issue OK because investors do not lose even if the price adjust according to the bonus. The cheaper price will attract more investors and so price likely to rise again after bonus. Bonus issue is so that coy can conserve cash for expansion. Investors keep as Vivocom is a growth stock. The key is whether coy makes and continue to make money, which Vivocom is doing and forecast to continue to do! The troll in the forum is trying to freak newbies.

The report on steel price hike is out-dated. China has massive over-capacity in steel production and is being accused of dumping steel in world markets at dirt-cheap prices. CRCC is likely to get the high speed rail between KL and Singapore. It already got the Bandar Malaysia project. Vivocom is one of CCRC's partners.

Go AAX go! Remember the listing price was RM1.25!

Likely to be a steady run-up like one step back and one and half step up.

Relax, the uptrend is going to last 2 to 3 months if past record is followed.
2016-07-11 15:36 | Report Abuse
AAX has 70% of its fuel hedged at USD54/barrel for one year. It is going to benefit if the crude oil price either way! Hopefull the spike in maintenance cost in Q1 is a one off. If so, Q2 is likely to be better than Q1.

The stock is in uptrend. It's looks like it is going to be a long steady uptrend.

Friday selling well absorbed with low volume.

@Myview. The same thing is happening to AAX. Fuel price continue to be down, passenger load is up. 2 quarters of sterling results. Yet price tamped down.
2016-06-17 11:56 | Report Abuse
@MyView. The syndicates are hoping for that belief. But look at the charts and the fundamentals.
2016-06-17 11:48 | Report Abuse
Syndicates still tamping down for collection.

And nowadays very few countries can make a living without some connections with China, not even the USA. China is the driver of global economic growth. But Soros and the US deep state are up to their necks shorting China. That's why they are trying to talk down China. If China surges instead, Soros and all those with him will lose their shirts.
2016-06-16 12:34 | Report Abuse
It's the China connection that boost Viv. And the connection with OBOR via CRC and financed by AIIB.

Seems to be syndicated bulls against bears now. Who will win?
2016-06-14 19:45 | Report Abuse
Track the fundamentals and the charts. The trolls are likely part of the syndicates to tamp down the price.

Foreign selling tapers off last week. It is nearly all local syndicate play/manipulation now. If they play low, go with them. Today's selling pressure seems well absorbed, although with some rolling with the punch.

@stutu, so dramatic! But don't worry lah, we should all survive.
2016-06-14 16:30 | Report Abuse
The pattern of just concluded trades indicates strongly that there is at least a strong syndicate tamping down the price for collection purposes.

Won't affect Vivocom which is Malaysia and ASEAN focused. The key event is the high speed rail from KL to Singapore.

KSL's internal audit function is very weak. One can't get much from RM25K per year out-sourced to an external consultant for such a large company.

I would wait for the outcome for SPLASH. If forced takeover at RM250 million resulting in a divestment loss of about RM1 billion, there will be a selldown of the mother. We will likely know by Oct 7 2016. Why Selangor offered only RM250 million? RM250 m is likely the replacement cost for the water treatment plant. Why Gamuda carried SPLASH at >RM1 B in its books? Haha! Anyone can venture a guess! At RM250 M, Selangor can get an ultra-modern water treatment plant, especially from the Chinese. And can the Fed offer more in a forced takeover? The Fed coffers are already stretched. So stay tuned! Selangor can actually do without SPLASH having already got the water distribution piping system from PUNCAK. Selangor can actually build a new water treatment plant and distribute, making SPLASH redundant, although still likely have to compensate Gamuda for cancelling the water treatment contract. That's why Selangor has even contemplated negotiations with Gamuda!
