There are about 10 wolves in the pack preying on KSL's price.
2015-03-18 16:19 | Report Abuse
The wolves trying to attack the warrants now. Getting desperate. They should go elsewhere. Easier pickings like in Genting Bhd!
2015-03-18 15:33 | Report Abuse
Just to prevent a drastic sell-down will be enough to keep the wolves away. They will be wasting their time if they cannot make a killing.

Fed will only raise rate if US inflation start spiking up. If prices' stable, everybody's happy that the status quo interest rate remains.
2015-03-18 15:04 | Report Abuse
But the recent drastic sell-downs with little or no intervention by KSL's bosses do raise some doubts!
2015-03-18 14:56 | Report Abuse
CCH, I rather not slight the KSL bosses but give them due respect until there is evidence that proves otherwise. In the meantime, there seems a determined push to prevent the price from sliding below RM2.
2015-03-18 12:24 | Report Abuse
The important thing is for KSL to prevent a drastic sell-down (like now?) since the price is already well below it's fair value. Once the sell-down is achieved, the wolves already done their job and just wait for the price to drop to their TP before buying back!
2015-03-18 12:16 | Report Abuse
But wolves usually don't lose. If the price rises above 2.20, they will just buy back or sell at a profit!
2015-03-18 12:02 | Report Abuse
The wolves shorted KSL from 2.12 today. If price rise above this today, it should burn the wolves but not too badly. If the bulls push the price to 2.20 and beyond today, the wolves will be badly burnt!
2015-03-18 11:47 | Report Abuse
The wolves want to show KSL who's the boss...!
2015-03-18 11:33 | Report Abuse
If KSL support price, KSL and investors should win in the end. I wonder why the wolves are still around, now that KSL's price support is evident?
2015-03-18 11:01 | Report Abuse
KSL's 40% payout has a lot of conditions. But this is their first baby steps towards status as a blue-chip. Investors should give them the benefit of the doubt for now and watch their walk. No nasty surprise after next quarter result, and price likely to shoot up (barring the wolves if they are still around).
2015-03-18 10:57 | Report Abuse
There is pack of wolves tamping down the price at 2.10. This is classic!
2015-03-18 10:28 | Report Abuse
Now KSL is supporting the price. They need to raise their game so that the wolves will go elsewhere and investors' confidence are restored.

If KSL do not implement a share price support policy, the share is unlikely to garner much long term support; and the price will also be hard to reflect the real value of KSL.
2015-03-17 11:34 | Report Abuse
That's because as was said, people are shy of the wild fluctuations.

The treasury shares resulting from the share buy-back can be used as bonus credited as fully paid up in lieu of cash dividends. KSL should include this in their dividend policy. Then instead of all new shares for those who choose to convert their dividends to shares, KSL can also issue treasury shares.

Well said spidee. Now KSL's management will need to have an active share support policy to defend the price against the wolves preying on the retailers. An active share buy-back policy is required at least in the medium term to fence off the wolves raiding the share price especially after the announcement of goodies like dividends and bonus issue. This should continue until the wolves decide that not much pickings can be had in KSL anymore and go elsewhere. Only then will KSL's share price move upwards steadily, reflecting its value as it is being realised.

CCH. Maybe KSL's insiders the 'big hand'?
2015-03-16 20:23 | Report Abuse
Agree with you CCH 100%. I hope KSL management may take some action like buying the shares whenever the 'big hand' start to sell down!

Buyers preparing for the Friday Contras. Look at the queue at 2.09!
2015-03-13 08:12 | Report Abuse
I will hold KSL. The underlying trend is still upwards.
2015-03-10 09:46 | Report Abuse
KSL's fundamentals are very strong. It's just that KSL did not keep its promise of at least RM1B sales for FY14. The Funds are a bit annoyed as a result. KSL should not make any announcement unless it can keep. Let's watch the official announcement on the DP%. If at least 40%, KSL will gain back some lost confidence! KSL also need experience in dealing with the Funds. They are no longer dealing with small fries like the retailers but the Big Boys who can make or break KSL's price! Without the BB support, KSL cannot realise its TP.

Sell-down yesterday was well absorbed. Should head up soon..
2015-03-09 15:05 | Report Abuse
The key words are 'at least 40%' of net profit dividend payout. The sell-down is also because of the weakening ringgit. KSL is a medium investment play.

Kenanga confirms out-perform call though.

The funds appear to be selling; but if DP confirmed, no reason for them to sell.

Stocks are not women. Be in love with the stock, but never marry them.. especially a tempestuous stock like KSL. Learn to dance with them and let go when one gets what one wanted (make a profit) from them. But women... remember 'hell has no fury like a woman scorned'! With stocks its the opposite: Financial hell has no fury like a stock overly loved!

Off course you can beat the BB, provided one is not married to the stock!

Yeah, they should give us some wisdom especially our leng luois and especially especially in newdesk's loubotins! Hahaha!

I think the big Friday Contras well absorbed now...only small fries left. Let's see the effect on Monday once DP is officially announced!

Mobius of Temple I understand is already in. If he comments positively in his blog, then the foreigner's likely to rush in!
2015-03-06 16:36 | Report Abuse
With KSL becoming an all round property stock, the Malaysian funds will have to buy fast before the foreign funds gets in. When the new DP policy is officially announced (and if it's 40%), no telling how high KSL will go!
2015-03-06 16:13 | Report Abuse
KSL is now a perfect stock for funds, especially pension funds - high earning visibility well into the future, undervalued NTA, good recurring income with possibility of being reit-ised, committed dividend policy with option for receiving dividends in shares at good price, and superior PE. It has become a blue chip property share. Only negative is the periodic wild swing in price, which makes it a trader's darling. Longer term investors must have good emotional calm! But will the new dividend policy lower it's beta?
2015-03-06 12:24 | Report Abuse
If 40%, then it means KSL has commited at least 40% of its net profit as dividend payout and with option of getting it in new shares at a price to be fixed.

Yeah..next pause at 2.20; but that won't stop the BB if something very nice was said at the briefing.
2015-03-06 11:40 | Report Abuse
Picking up...something nice to hear being said at the briefing?
2015-03-05 15:52 | Report Abuse
Likely good news tomorrow's briefing, otherwise big boys won't push through strong resistance at 2.10. But upwards likely slow as BB wants to collect as much as possible!
2015-03-05 15:42 | Report Abuse
Buy rate over 60% now. Big boys collecting mainly at 2.09.

Slow steady rise will be good. No irrational exuberance for this stock, but solid investment to realise its intrinsic value should garner more investors' confidence and support. But a few wolves (less and not so obvious today) still lurking in the woods!
