（布城9日讯）地质和矿产局总监拿督沙哈阿芬迪表示，依据能源及天然资源部的记录，截至目前，没有接获或批准Ageson有限公司或其子公司Esa Pile有限公司出口沙子的申请。
他针对英文《星报》网站于5月8日报道有关“Ageson公司从彭亨及登嘉楼采购价值275亿令吉的沙子供应中国的客户”，发文告指出，按照现有的程序，任何想要出口沙子的采沙商人或矿商，都必须向能源及天然资源部申请出口准证（AP）。
他补充，截至目前没有记录显示，现有的沙子出口准证持有者已达成任何协议，为相关公司或子公司提供沙子。
“能源及天然资源部按照几个因素发出AP，包括国家的重要性，即考虑本地需求量、国家主权、以及贸易利益，条件为商家必须事前获得能源及天然资源部及地方政府批准在没有忽略大自然的情况下持续采矿。”
他也提醒，任何要出口沙子到国外的人士需要遵守2017年关税指令（禁止出口）、1966年大陆架法令、1965年国家土地法及相关州属的矿物法令。
