Yes beyondream, u r correct. The dividend of 1.5 sen is about 10 sen if considered before the split n bonus which is much better than last time. If they can give us dividend of 1.5 sen twice a year is considered very good already.

Pputeh, since u had experienced the trend regarding counters after ex-bonus n/or shares split then u can follow ur thoughts. I think not all counters will follow that way n I also feel the same like Firebird2 that whether Aeon will be like that n even if u wait to see the trend first before u buy n even if Aeon is on the uptrend u should be happy as u r not experiencing a down trend............buy high n sell higher n still u will be making profit. Firebird2, I only noticed that the final 10 minutes there were 9,900 shares done at 15.02 n another lot was left...........looks normal to me.

Lay Eng Teoh, the price will be adjusted accordingly basing on the closing price of the last day before ex-bonus n shares split........let say for 1,000 shares bought at rm15.00 then after the bonus n split the total number of shares will become 4,000 shares at rm15.00 n therefore 1 share will be rm3.75 but up or down again will depend on the market force on that day.

Sold all at 18.5 sen n will buy back after ex-rights................trade at own risk.

U r correct Cweed, in anything let they be goods or services n etc etc if deal in big chunk will always be cheaper with discount, that is the market norm.

I still got one more day to trade in this counter before it goes ex-dividend on 20/05/2014............hope can get some on Monday at a reasonable price.............

Firebird2, probably the people didn't get the message properly as besides the expansion of more branches by 2016 n above, they will be opening 3 more branches very soon in Bukit Mertajam, Taiping n one in one of the shopping mall in KL business district. Latest news from the Star after Aeon's AGM held yesterday that they r planning to expand 2 more branches in Kuching n Kota Bharu by 2016 n more branches in Kedah, Kelantan, Terengganu, Sabah n Sarawak in the next 5 years..................very positive news!!! Trade at own risk.

Opening price too high so will wait until afternoon whether can get cheaper or not...........just wait patiently lah.

No jimstock, I've a few favourite stocks in my portfolio like Maybank, CIMB, Axiata n Aeon besides Pwroot n also keep some penny stocks for short term trading. As Aeon is now giving a dividend of 22 sen n also bonus n shares split, I'm trying to accumulate it as much as possible whenever the price drops.

Yes Firebird2, it's a very hugh place n near a commercial area. It's a 3 storey building n is very long n wide. The basement n the ground floor r for car parks n the building as awhole looks very magnificent.

Yes Firebird2, I finally found the Aeon building which is located at Kamunting, Taiping, which about a stone throw away from Tesco. The building is much much bigger than the Taiping Mall that I mentioned to u earlier n I understand that it will be completed where in August 2014. I have been to the site n will snap a photo of the building when it is fully completed n paste it at this thread for all the members of this forum to see.

Firebird2, today managed to sell 15,000 units pwroot at 2.05 n managed to accumulate only 1,000 units Aeon at 14.96 n still have some fund to buy Aeon after the Wesak holiday.

Firebird2, Mitra is also up today n hope u will make a very good profit from it. I'm also looking forward to selling Luster when it goes up further. I bought it at quite a high price averaging around 17sen but will sell even at a loss say around 14 sen onwards............

Firebird2, now I thought of selling about 30,000 units of Pwroot n buy 4,000 units of Aeon. Moreover by selling pwroot I'll be making around rm16k as I bought it cheap at around rm1.48 n I still have a balance of 30,000 units.
