Lim, u much know good traders can make money no matter in bull or bear market............trading is done all year round. During bear market u can buy low n keep them n then comes bull market u can sell them with good profits. The interest rates now for fixed deposits r very low n how much can u get from them.

Hi gweilo, I strongly agreed with ur view for the company not paying high dividend but instead using the fund for expansion n investment is much better n when the company has made more profit from its investment then it can increase the payment of dividend.

Hi lim, u see what happening to Hup Seng a day before going ex-bonus n split!!! Very sad!!!

Nooniez, if I'm not mistaken u r holding 1,400 shares n u will get a total of 9,333 shares after the split n bonus issued. 9,300 shares r normal n 33 shares r odd n u can also leave ur holding as it is as the shares that r affected r the 33 units where u can ask ur remisier to sell together with ur normal lots at the same time.......................the odd lot (33 shares) off course will be cheaper giving to the buyer's price under odd lot section. Ur loss will be on the odd lot of 33 shares which will be sold at a lesser price probably 5 sen or more I'm not very sure. U can ask ur remisier about it.

Tq mike, I had bought some Hup Seng but the price was already quite high n off course still making. If I've earlier read ur recommendation I would have made much more but still satisfied with the price I bought. Tq mike again.

The par value of Insas is RM1 n Inari is 10 sen n the price of inari is more than double of Insas so I would rather choose Insas than Inari. U r right mike n I'll stick to Insas n buy some tomorrow

Zu, Insas is another good counter recommended by mike. Wow so many good counters but not enough fund...............have to decide whether to buy 2,000 units of Aeon at 14.38= RM28,760.00 or 25,000 units of Insas at 1.21 = RM30,250.00 if both prices remain unchanged. Zu, I may buy Aeon tomorrow as it was recommended by mike .................the most I think I can afford 2,000 units only as limited fund now all tied up by shares bought earlier.

Yes zu, I 'm still holding Iris n will decide to dispose some when price recovers. Last week I bought 7,500 units in Hup Seng at an average price of 7.16 n will decide whether to sell on 01/04/14 or hold on until ex-all where I'll have 50,000 units to trade bit by bit.

Nobody can determine the price by saying this n that................better let the market force do the pricing. I'm more favoring the counter to go ex-all before deciding whether to keep for long term or not...............see the situation first!!!

Congrats to u goldenhope. The reasons for people to chase after this counter r for the shares split n the bonus issued. Otherwise there is no fund at all to see n trade in this company as it is. After shares split n bonus issued there will be more shares in the market n also the price will be cheaper around 1.20 upwards n more people can afford to buy n trade. This is my opinion only. Nooniez, with1400 units u will end up with odd lot. Therefore u should either sell off 200 units n left with 1,200 units or buy another 100 units to make a total of 1,500 units. As I've told earlier in this forum that the any amount of units that can be divided by 3 will not end up in odd lots like 300 units, 600 units, 900 units, 1,200 units, 1,500 units n so on.............. I hope u understand what I'm trying to tell u. Good luck to u n happy trading on Monday.

Tandeklon, if u want to keep Hup Seng as investment then u either sell 100 shares to make ur holding 2,400 shares where u will get 16,000 after split n bonus issued or to buy additional 200 shares to make ur holding 2,700 shares where u will get 18,000(13500+4,500(bonus)) after split n bonus issued.........then u will not have any odd lot. I hope u understand what I'm telling u.

Hi tandeklon, with ur 2,500 shares u will get 12,500 shares of 10 sen each n a bonus shares of 4,166 shares of 10 sen each (1 for 3) making a total of 16,666 shares of 10 sen each. Ur odd lot is 66 shares.

Joel, don't buy 1,000 shares but buy amount which can be divided by 3 then u will not get odd lots which r very hard to sell. Buy like 300 shares, 600 shares, 900 shares, 1 200 shares n so on........ I hope u understand now

Joel 1,200 shares if 50 sen each will become 6,000 shares of 10 sen each n bonus will be at 1 for 3 where u get extra 2,000 shares as bonus which will make a total of 8,000 shares.

Joel, if u only buy 1 lot then u will end up with odd lot after split n bonus issued. Therefore it's better for u to buy 1,200 shares n if at RM8 then the amount will be RM9,600. After split n bonus u will end up with 8,000 shares which is RM1.20 per share. I hope I'm correct.

Bought again today at 7.29 n after ex-dividend tomorrow n if the closing still remained at 7.29 then tomorrow opening price I think will be around 7.21 n above. Trade at own risk.
