During the nice old days' tradings n now r so much different n informations now r quick to get at a click of a finger only I don't mind telling all of u friends n traders here that I've been trading in shares for about 50 years n still learning the trade. I started young becoz of the environment of my job working in a bank where during that time banks also could act as a dealer buying n selling shares for their clients. I retired more than 10 years ago as a manager. I still need to learn from all u young people, all very talented with good knowledges. I really love this forum n spend most of my time here. Iskhin, I think u r holding 7 los of BJCORP shares n u r guaranteed 100 shares of BAUTO . Then u applied 10 lots under pink form which I think is not successful as the applications r over-subscripted. Therefore they will have to return to u RM700-00-RM70-00=RM630-00. I hope I'm correct.

Got 4,500 units through pink form application n intend to keep the shares as investment for a year or two n probably may some more later on.

AtamTua, may I correct a bit under Part 2 of ur views on the much talked about Proposed Capital Deduction Scheme as follows:-
1) Assuming reducing par value per share to 25 sen from 50 sen.
2) Then Nos of shares will be 354,198,600 shares = RM177,099,600.
3) Share Capital is further reduced by RM88,549,650. This is the amount shareholders would be paid in cash as the 'cash payout' we've been looking forward to.
4) Balance per share capital after the whole exercise = RM88,559,950.
If my calculation is correct then Part 3 onwards will be adjusted accordingly.
Correct me if I'm wrong. Tq.

Mike, early In the morning I queued in order to save but instead ending up paying more. I could have got the shares at 32.5 sen if I bought direct from sellers. Popular counters never q but buy straight away at the sellers' price if resonable. A lesson well learned!
