We live in a very complex macroeconomic situations. Yes, inflation may be over and raw material cost has been down significantly for producers. However, producers can still impose high prices on consumers with no tangible consequences. Consumers will always receive the short end of the stick in a deflationary environment.

In summary, companies like Cab Cakaran will always benefit regardless of whether the average production cost of broiler chicken goes up or down. This is a very interesting time we are living in

no wonder the share price is weak af for the past few days

Majority of retail investors bought in this Monday (6 March 2023) according to fund flow statistics by CGS-CIMB Securities Sdn Bhd

This stock is super manipulated right now. I remember when QR came out two weeks ago, all the news media including The Edge was singing about how bad the quarterly loss that Velesto suffered. And then, after the stock rebounded, FMT or whatever BS media said that Velesto is expected to recover its losses in the next QR. This enticed a lot of retail investors to buy in this Monday. Share price has been down ever since.

Johari Abdul Ghani ex finance minister. I think his average cost per share is around RM1.60

So, it is advised to not chase and only buy on weakness. Very good long term company
