Ekovest will start to see contribution in profits from Duke 2 in another 2 quarters. Next quarter will see contribution of additional traffic due to Duke 2 and contribution from 22nd Nov onwards. The quarter after that will see full quarter contribution of Duke 2 to Ekovest. Maybe by then it will get more coverage by IBs. For now, it is cheap to buy even without BM and buying over IWCITY. So should be good cash flow coming in from highway and IWCITY. Hope IWCITY can sell more land too.

Need more diversification of revenue stream. Traditional media decline more than growth of new business. New businesses need time to show contribution.

Hold for another 3 months. By then election time and 4Q announce. If full 4 quarter loss gonna piss off investors for next agm.

RM 52m for termination benefits. So at least they trimming. Print media is the biggest contributor for the losses.

Why are they spending on property, plant and equipment? 63m on it. 98m for cash paid on acquiring subsidiary. I guess FY 2017 will be really poorly. Only back to black in 4Q probably. Revenue dropped a lot especially in traditional media. They're not cutting costs deep enough.

If you look at their cash flow statement. They reduced bank borrowings a lot and replaced with lower interest rate government backed loan. Can expect lower interest charges in future.

Revenue YoY is an improvement and this is not taking into account Duke phase 2 which only started collection this month. Next quarter can see small contribution. But the quarter after that will see the main contribution. Overall, Ekovest is heading to a better future.

Now only have to wait for IWCITY QR to see contribution from sale of land which should bring it into a profit. Although, would be better if they call off the deal. I prefer EKOVEST to remain mainly construction and toll with very limited property development.
