Further sliding oil price below 40 may add fuel to the depressed klci, ... my recounting/review on oil chart indicating that the possibility of below 30 may be absolutely inevitable near term( in next 1- 4 weeks)...

The USD/RM may hit 4.2 to 4.3 (weak Fundamental and poor political stability)...., that is negative on KLCI / Government Bond... ....,,

ah con, I trade only klci futures and some ahjikor's-Index- linked counters.... I track 20 counters , their TA/FA/Charts and back-tracked them for correlating and deriving the klci chart.... I do use EW as one of my charting tools as I've mentioned before, our Bursa is a closed door trading house .,as such, deriving an accurate forecast is a difficult task indeed.

The upcoming possible China Interest reduction this weekend(tomorrow) may affect the klci next Monday opening,, let us hope that it is only a rumour.. as China may do anything to revitalise her depressed economy

I do hope klci will stop bleeding and stabilize herself asap.. and our Malaysia is to get well soonest...

Rumours of Chinese action are ever-present in markets but expect them to ramp up on Friday ahead of the weekend. Every PBOC move on rates this year has come on a Saturday and it's been six weeks since the June 29 cut.

A cut this weekend would be unwise. It wouldn't be seen as an effort to strengthen the economy, but rather as a sign of panic due to a plunging economy. China has no doubt slowed but we don't believe it's cratering. Still, official moves lately have been haphazard and a weekend cut can't be ruled out.

For Friday, the trade is the rumour and it will first be reflected in Shanghai Composite trading to close out the week. It will rally but might be set up for disappointment Monday.

The main news item Thursday was the US retail sales report. Given the upward revisions, it was stronger than expected but after a brief rally, the US dollar faded. That strengthens our conviction that the dollar trend may be coming to an end.

Will crude oil, silver and gold go even lower? Ask the central banks and the High-Frequency-Traders! But at some point, probably soon, even in our delusional financial world, it will occur to a significant number of people that:
• Stock markets can be levitated for only so long. I think their “expiration date” has been passed or is close.
• Silver prices are “bombed out” much like they were in 2001. Once the COMEX sellers are exhausted (or out of bullion) the buyers will dominate and silver prices will exit from “Desolation Row” and rally much higher.
• Real money (gold and silver) will eventually dominate, as they should, over fiat currencies, digital equivalents, and “extend and pretend” central bank manipulations.
• US money was formerly gold and silver coins. They were replaced by paper certificates. Those were replaced by Federal Reserve Notes (debt) borrowed into existence. Now the Fed “prints” the “money” by monetizing debt. Could this process reset with a return to honest money – gold and silver – replacing the failing paper stuff?

Confidence is what holds the unbacked fiat currency system together. Confidence can evaporate rapidly, though unpredictably. When confidence fades real money, hard assets, and commodities, such as gold and silver, real estate, diamonds, and base metals, will shine.
There are numerous reasons to expect that the US stock markets might follow the Chinese markets downward, particularly by the end of the year. A FEW possibilities are: 7 – 8 year cycles, extended valuations, excessive confidence, new wars, Chinese market crash, bond market reversal, interest rate increases, weak internals, Armstrong’s economic confidence cycles, and Shemitah cycles.
Silver has been crushed and the S&P has been levitated. Both seem likely to turn soon.

when market is in chaotic state, all the As may be temporarily frozen. But eventually, TA, FA must still be applicable.... that is how a stock price is stipulated...

Aside from the weakening euro, the dollar is strong in its own right. The U.S. economy has been growing at a moderate pace. GDP in the United States grew by 2.3% during the second quarter. Last Friday, the U.S. Labor Department reported that nonfarm payrolls increased by 215,000 in July which means that the unemployment rate in the U.S. remained steady at 5.3%. Average hourly wages rise by 5 cents and the report was relatively upbeat which provides a continuation of positive news for the U.S. economy.

Other nations around the world are not faring as well as the United States. China continues to suffer from lethargic growth and in many other nations there are economic woes. In commodity producing countries like Australia and Canada, lower raw material prices weigh on the economic conditions in these countries. Meanwhile, the strengthening condition of the U.S. means that the central bank is more likely to raise short-term interest rates.

For many months now, the U.S. Federal Reserve has stated that they intend to raise the Fed Funds rate. The increase is likely to be small, only 25 basis points. However, since it will be the first time interest rates rise in many years there will be a psychological effect on all markets. Perhaps the most intense effect will be on the U.S. currency.

European interest rates will remain low until September 2016 at the very earliest, as the European Central Bank is currently employing quantitative easing to stimulate the weak European economy. All over the world, interest rates are low or continue to fall. The Chinese central bank has lowered interest rates four times thus far in 2015. A U.S. interest rate rise, in my opinion, will immediately cause the dollar to move higher.

Not only is the dollar technically and fundamentally strong, but a rise in the yield on the currency will provide those who own or buy dollars with the opportunity to earn more as that wait for the inevitable capital appreciation. Recent economic figures in the U.S. are signaling that a rate increase in the U.S. is coming soon, most likely in September and if not then in December. Positive technicals and fundamentals and higher U.S. rates creates a triad of bullish news for the dollar. The path of least resistance for the dollar appears to be higher and this is bad news for commodity prices.

They are waiting for the present critical and chaotic situation to calm down before showing their power again.... , so 1550 may come really fast....
