JAKARTA (IndoTelko) – Tencent berencana akan membangun data center di Malaysia dengan menggandeng Patimas Computers untuk menggarap pasar cloud computing.

Dikutip dari ZDNET (10/6), Tencent juga tengah mengincar sekitar 15% saham milik Patimas Computers yang selama ini dikenal bermain di layanan infrastruktur TIK dan komputasi awan di Malaysia.

Aksi dari Tencent ini akan memuluskan layanan milik perseroan melenggang di Malaysia seperti WeChat, dan jasa internet lainnya. Sebelumnya, Tencent sudah menguasai 5% saham Patimas melalui perusahaan investasi.

Patimas sendiri tengah mengalami masalah keuangan dan sedang menjalani investigasi oleh otoritas keuangan setempat. Pada Maret 2012, perseroan mengalami kerugian US$27,8 juta.

Di Indonesia, raksasa Internet dari China ini masuk dengan menggandeng MNC Media demi membawa Instant Messenger andalannya, WeChat.

Perusahaan patungan yang dibuat diberi nama PT MNC Tencent. Komposisi saham antara MNC Media dengan Tencent sama kuat, diselingi kepemilikan dari fasilitator Hillhouse Capital Management Ltd dari China.(ss)

I guess Patimas will unsuspend after Bursa accept the appeal and the regularisation plan will take effect by next year Feb.

We don't talk about the previous director and all the previous director has been resign, now with new director and new team, sure Patimas will not same as previous Patimas. I believe The new management will secure more and more project for coming time.

US stock up about 200 point and it is a good sign for KLSE. As for Patimas it is a good start when Bursa make an announcement by next week. Now day all the world has been involve deeply in cloud, LTE and data center business.

Pls be patient and Bursa not make any annoucement means it is a good news for Patimas. The regularisation plan propose by Patimas may need sometime to evaluate by Bursa. This is not easy to make a decision but if the time is longest means is good for Patimas.

As mentioned before, the regularisation plan was not implement immediately.

As above statement, CPE has bought 43million of Patimas at 0.11cent but at the June 2013, when the CPE report come out, Patimas share was quote at 0.05cent (US612,338).

China Private Equity Investments Holdings Limited notes the announcement today from Bursa Malaysia regarding the suspension of trading of Patimas Computer Berhad ("Patimas") with effect from 27 November 2013. The suspension in trading will be effective for five trading days pending a decision by Bursa Malaysia whether or not to delist the company. On 22 November 2013, Patimas lodged an appeal against a delisting on the basis of it needing further time to implement a reorganisation. The closing price of Patimas shares was MYR0.01.

CPE acquired 43 million shares in Patimas, representing 5.2 per cent. of the issued share capital in Patimas at a price of MYR0.11 on 29 January 2013. The value of the investment set out in CPE's unaudited interim results as at 30 June 2013 was US$612,338, representing 2.3 per cent. of the Company's published interim net asset value.

On 17 October 2013, Steve Tan was appointed to the board of Patimas to represent CPE's interests, with a view to agreeing and implementing a reorganisation plan for Patimas.

Calvin.....How many times I have warned people against wandering around. Found a Gold Mine like PM Corp? Stick with it. See. Never listen. Fall down inside another land mine again?

I also hold the PMCorp until now and never sell event reach 0.37cent. As you told us, this can invest for long term. I start to bought the PMCorp when you are start promoting at about 0.15cent.

But I also feel Patimas with the new team, then will perform well in future. Especially the data center and LTE.

I guess Bursa also very hard to decise to delist Patimas, it's may due to:
1. CPE really come and help Patimas.
2. Patimas have a good Data Center and it is very good for future especially for B2B or LTE.
3. Patimas has start re-structure and now only concentrate to the core business.
4. Patimas has been move to TPM where it is really IDC company.

PC, still safe and now only depend to Bursa decision. If Bursa accept then Patimas need to provide the the re structure on time. Patimas will perform better and better with the new team and creative, innovative and motivative team.

Bursa still not announce the delist news by this morning, then I guess Bursa will consider not to delist the Patimas. Then Patimas need to come out the re structure plan on time. This is my view only.
