美國股市周一可望擴大9月漲勢，桑默斯於周末退出角逐下一任美國聯準會(Fed)主席，投資人表示歡迎。

因投資人現在預期葉倫將接任Fed主席，美國指數期貨與全球股市大幅上揚。

盤前交易中，美國三大主要指數期貨上漲約1%。美元則下跌。

展望葉倫將接任伯南克的Fed主席職位，投資人感到振奮，因預期她將採行類似的振興經濟政策，壓低失業率。

投資人近來擔憂桑默斯--先前接任Fed主席一職的首要人選--將更積極退出貨幣振興措施。該措施挹注了大量資金進入經濟體系，並支撐了全球市場。

同時，周六美國與俄羅斯宣布決定了架構，以清除敘利亞化學武器，亦支撐了股市氣氛。

美國軍事攻擊敘利亞的威脅已告消退，該威脅一度導致股市大幅震盪，油價上漲。原油價格現在已告回檔。

台北時間20:30 紐約Fed銀行將公布製造業指數。台北時間21:15 美國將公布工業生產。

上周五，美國股市收高，整周亦大幅走強。上周，道瓊指數上漲3%，另二項指數亦上漲近2%。

歐洲股市早場上漲，德國DAX指數漲勢領先，上漲近1%。

大多亞洲股市下跌，日本股市假日休市。

（吉隆坡12日訊）根據消息透露，大馬的國家石油（Petronas）正與產油國、買家和交易商洽談，提議為亞太地區生產的原油設立新定價機制，以更能反映區域供需狀況。
國油是東南亞第二大石油生產商，兩年前剛放棄波動過大的亞洲油價指數，改以石油定價機構普氏能源資訊（Platts）公佈的布蘭特基準現貨價為計價依據，越南和汶萊隨後也跟進。
消息來源說，國油正研究可行選項，包括和新加坡一家交易所合作，依照大馬的原油分級法來設立期貨交易合約。
另一消息人士表示：“這是為了更精確反映區域供需。布蘭特現貨價有時與區域市場走向背離。”
布蘭特現貨價是依四種數量漸少的北海原油價格共同設定－布侖特、福爾蒂斯（Forties）、奧斯博格（Oseberg）和埃科菲斯克（Ekofisk）－常因福爾蒂斯供應不足而大漲，或因歐洲需求下滑而走跌，例如碰上煉油廠維修期時。
知情人士說，國油有設立新的定價機制的構想，是因為“覺得布蘭特現貨價格無法反映其原油品質”。布蘭特原油硫含量高於大馬原油。
國油對新石油定價機制重燃興趣，也可是因為大馬油產可能攀升，沙巴新建的油輪碼頭今年稍晚將開始營運。

（纽约11日讯）由于全球8月石油部分供应中断的情形增加，美国能源情报署（EIA）提高2013年和2014年对西德州中级原油（WTI）和布伦特原油（Brent）价格预测。
EIA昨天预测，纽约交易的WTI等级原油价格今年平均将达到每桶98.59美元，布伦特原油等级价格平均则将达108.12美元，上个月的预测分别为96.96美元和105.80美元。
EIA经济学家李德戴尔说：“EIA提高油价预测，主要是因为我们对部分供应中断情形的预测。我们也降低对可用的原油产能的预估。”
“8月石油输出国家组织（OPEC）会员国中断供应的石油1天就占了210万桶。今年第2季OPEC过剩产能平均一天是220万桶，低于3年平均数100万桶。”

ETI科技将留意BDO治理咨询私人有限公司提出的弱点，立即采取整顿组财务和行政管理的行动。
ETI科技将发出法律声明，向Flexi Power有限公司收回款项，因该批采购原料在质量监管不及格后，已退回给该公司。
基于有关原料已退还于公司，董事局将建议在下一步听取更多法律建议，以收回款项。
有关1658万令吉的预先付款在截至2013财年2月28日的年度经审计的财务报表已被减值。
无论如何，有关报告的结果并不会对公司财务表现和营运带来影响。

該公司發文告表示，BDO監管諮詢私人有限公司在評估和觀察採購過程侯，總結公司以1千658萬令吉向FlexiPower私人有限公司（FPSB）採購原料交易實屬合法。
因此，董事部已採納BDO報告點出的公司弱點，並採取行動糾正集團財政和行政管理問題，以及向FPSB發出法律文件要求歸還相關付款，因為相關採購在無法通過公司的品質管理情況下已回退至FPSB。

Reference is made to the Announcements and the Emphasis of Matters in the External Auditor’s Report in the Audited Financial Statements of the Company issued on 01 August 2013.

The Board of Directors of ETITECH wishes to announce that BDO had issued the report on the specific concerns of the Board in relation to the procurement of raw materials (“Report”).

As a result of the procedures performed by BDO and the observations made, BDO had drawn a conclusion that the procurement of raw materials from Flexi Power Sdn Bhd (“FPSB”) amounting to RM16.58 million appear to be valid transactions, albeit transacted in a poorly controlled manner.

The Board took note of the weaknesses observed by BDO and steps will be taken immediately to rectify the Group’s financial and administrative management. Nevertheless, the Board had issued legal notices to recover the payments made to FPSB in respect of the raw materials purchased which were subsequently returned to FPSB after having failed quality control checks.

The Board also wishes to inform that the Company will seek further legal advice on its next course of action to recover the monies paid to FPSB in respect of the raw materials purchased which were subsequently returned to FPSB. The said prepayment amounting to RM16.58 million had been impaired in the Annual Audited Financial Statements of the Company for the financial period ended 28 February 2013.

Despite above, the results of the Report will not have any impact on the financial performance and operation of the Group.
