.....when there were rampant cases of greedy kings, kleptocracy, unscrupulous 1mdblike dealings, treachery, homosexual practices...

A campaign to return to those values would help tackle some of the biggest problems these women face – honour killing, child marriage, domestic violence and sexual harassment.
Many major tribes with their allies and slaves used to come and encamp there separately. Competitions in generosity were staged. In order to assert his superiority, the chief of every tribe set up huge cauldrons, slaughtered numerous camels and cooked the flesh which was then freely distributed for the "pilgrims." The sole objective of this extreme generosity was for their name to be exalted in the whole of Arabia and for it to be publicized that this person slaughtered so many camels and gave food to so many people. Singing, drinking, adultery and various kinds of immorality were indulged in, and the thought of God scarcely occurred to anybody.
The religious rites of circling the meteorite was reduced to a circus. Women and men went round and round the Kaaba performing Tawaf stark naked.
They said: "We shall go before God in the same condition in which our mothers gave birth to us."
Prayer was accompanied by hand-clapping, whistling and the blowing of horns.
The name of God was pronounced in the prayer of intent (Labbayka Allahumma Labbayk: "Here I am present, My Lord, I am present.") However, even this expression of reverence was distorted with the following additions: "No one is your partner except one who is permitted by you. You are his master and the master of what he possesses
Sacrifices were also made in the name of God; however, the blood of the sacrificed animals was poured on the walls of the Kaaba in the belief that God demanded flesh and blood.
Doing business or working for one's livelihood during the Haj journey were considered unlawful. Others used to give up food and water during Haj and regarded this abstention as part of worship, while others stopped talking from the beginning of Haj until its end.
These rites continued to be practiced for nearly two and a half thousand years
God is something instilled into the beholder's brain from young, people started to believe in God due to fear and the needs of security in olden time bec of lack of knowledge, everything that they could not explain were taken as God or Devil's act.
There is no God; otherwise, nobody can kill people and get away with it. Real God should be very powerful and should stop such matters before it happened.

......also no innocent kid would die of drowning, dedicated parents die in road traffice accidents.....and the list goes on
Fundamentalism is strongly correlated with what psychologists and neuroscientists call “magical thinking,” which refers to making connections between actions and events when no such connections exist in reality.
Without magical thinking, fundamentalism can’t survive, nor can it replicate itself. Another cognitive impairment we see in those with extreme fundamentalist views is a greater reliance on intuitive rather than reflective or analytic thought, which frequently leads to incorrect assumptions since intuition is often deceiving or overly simplistic.
The term jahiliyyah is derived from the verbal root jahala "to be ignorant or stupid, to act stupidly. Also means barbarism, thuggery and ruthlessness.
An era when there was serious impingement on human rights by modern standard
.......women, as a general rule, had virtually no legal status; fathers sold their daughters into marriage for a price, the husband could terminate the union at will, and women had little or no property or succession rights.
In those “Days of Jahiliyyah ”, female infanticide was commonplace. If girls and women were deemed worthy of living, they had no rights and were treated mostly as objects to possess, vessels for breeding and outlets for pleasure.
....those days before one-off 'women's rights revolution' there
...when dedicated ones spent over 10 years to preach values, morals and behaviour.
........long before talking about the roles and responsibilities of individuals, civil society and the state.
Only by going back to these basics - the resurrection of those values and behaviour, there can br hope if we are to turn the tide against extremism, barbarism and chaos reminiscent of the “Days of Jahiliyyah ”.
