@moneyontheway what May happen in future I don’t know. I bought this stock in the past based on the dip knowing it may reach near its former 52week range. Disposing for a 20% upside is worth it. As I’m not a long term investor on one single stock, I could not offer any long term advise on pet dagang

International oil price always hovering above $70, sometimes $80, for a very long time. Our Petronas should be making tons of profits. Keep holding this counter for more dividends. The SP won't go down much even with ppl selling. If go down summore, I will buy and keep.

Earnings for this financial year should exceed RM 1b. A consistent dividend payer. At present price, its DY is better than the banks interest rates.

KUALA LUMPUR: Penganalisis menegaskan bahawa PETRONAS tiada pilihan selain perlu menjadi lebih agresif dan tangkas untuk menyesuaikan diri dengan persekitaran operasi yang pantas berubah di seluruh dunia.
Menurut penganalisis UOB Kay Hian, Kong Ho Meng, di peringkat global, Shell mengumumkan untuk mengurangkan 20 peratus tenaga kerja dua sub-bahagian yang bertanggungjawab dalam operasi penerokaan.
Katanya, ExxonMobil pula menjangkakan untuk memberhentikan hampir 400 pekerja sebagai sebahagian daripada integrasi operasi, susulan pengambilalihan pengeluar minyak syal di Texas.
"Sebelum ini, pada penghujung 2024, dilaporkan bahawa PETRONAS mempertimbangkan langkah pengecilan operasi bagi menangani jangkaan kehilangan kira-kira 30 peratus hasilnya selepas perubahan dalam pengagregatan gas Sarawak.

@Needluck mostly passive funds shuffling positions. The institutions owning this stock have very low turnover. Petronas needs to conduct layoffs FAST.
