Those use EDL within JB without going out CIQ still free. Those Spore PR who drive Spore car need to pay 6.8*2 per day if they choose to go in and out of CIQ. So extra payment approx RM300 per month or slightly more than SGD100. The heavy payment come from Msian workers who drive local car work in Spore. The VEP is killing one costing SGD35 per entry on top of the CIQ charges. The RM2.90 is existing charges for Plus.
However, if you count for a car to use for 10 years, then own a Spore car really a killing one. Car price plus COE easily cost more than RM500k. Some after 10 years you have renew COE again otherwise your car become almost worthless. Compare with those Msia drive local car even include VEP charges the total expenses for owning a car maybe lesser. Therefore the big shark here is obviously Spore govt.
