it is still possible to combine both method, example you can shortlist pool of stocks based on funda analysis. Then, scan the pool of stock with technical analysis to identify momentum everyday. only buy if momentum detected, this way you can avoid fundamental stock which is going sideways or downtrend to avoid opportunity cost
