I from northern Malaysia. Buy Tambun after Ikea complete in 2019. Penang properties better choose those build Penang island property. Eg Ivory, Tropicana, Ewein, HuaYang. Analysts may recommend EcoWorld, Mah Sing or E&O but they are pricier now.

Alex Foo......before property counter uptrend starts, market should undergo major correction already. Better focus back to your Hengyuan and steel counters. At least enjoy a major price uptrend before and after Q3 results announcement.

Guys, thanks for your insights. Anyhow, there are usually 3 groups of people in the stock market.

1) People who uses FA for investment decision. Timeframe: long term. Price: not an issue. Focus: undervalue stocks
2) People who uses TA for trading decision. Timeframe: short term. Price: a factor to consider since the timeframe is short. Focus: timing to ride with the trend.
3) People who doesn’t belong to Group 1 & 2. They huattt left & right, day & night as long as the bullets are there :D

walao gohkimhock, those are the two sectors that should most interest value investors given their bombed out valuations. but of course, need to be very patient, choose wisely and have to have holding power.
