If I'm not mistaken China sells far more to the U.S. than it buys from US companies. In my hmble opinion, China has more to lose.

I think a lot of those thinks that was sold to US is actually from US companies manufacturing in China, probably more than 30%

China owns more than a $1tn of US debt but even if China did sell US debt, it would most likely be picked up by other countries.
