DBKL must start demolishing hawker stalls erected in this following manner
1. Pedestrian walkways
2. Road corners
3. Below PPR flats and residential area.
All hawker stalls must be away from residential area at least by 200 metres.
Structures erected nearby drainage and pedestrian walkway must be bombed! These stalls are the disease generators. The leftovers are poured into nearby drainage and it is a feast for rats, cockroaches, creepy crawlers and mosquitos.
No wonder dengue fever is a constant menace along with other diseases.
