I am not an alcoholic and I don't care about this ban.

However from my observation, for too long merchants of liquor has been making big money due to lax regulation.

There is no quality control on the product being sold. Those who consume these thrash liquors transform into zombies with swollen faces which indicate serious health problem.

How to quality control when the authorities are Ahmad, Pak Busu, Pak Lebai and the merchants are Ah Beng, Ah Chai, Diu Na Sengs who grease them with "Aiyah, cari makanlah, minum kopi laaa...cincai lah"

Ni halal kan? Halal la tu...!!!

Eventually, Ramasamy, Kupusamy and all the Samys become zombies after quality testing those products. Who cares about them anyway.

What this needs is not total ban but strict control.
Do not let vultures to earn from the poor.
