Bank term loan is okay, becos da bank does not simply demand payment when your stock price falls, no matter how much, as long as your monthly loan payments are regular & on time ...

But margin money from investment bank, or even any bank, is not adviseable, becos you are then just setting yourself up for forced selling at loss everytime the total value of your investment dips below a certain level, becos of falling stock price. Which is something that could happen often.

I borrowed 150k from MBSB in 2013, to top up my then available capital up to 200k, so what ... I'm paying the monthly loan instalments every month from my full-time job's gaji ... But the stock investment component is my own private business which I manage properly to generate extra income ... And my initial 200k investment in Sumatec WB became 565k within 10 months, in mid-August 2014 ... What is so bad about that? ...

Come put in some money into Nova ... Now special offer firesale price ... I hv always missed the chance to grab Nova during a price drop, for some reason or other ... The lowest I ever got it, since I started playing it in April, was 19.5 ... Soon after it had dropped to 17 on April 1, the very first day of GST implementation ...

But still I had managed to make some handsome gains with it in April & May, before che det crashed da market & spoiled da show with his thoughtless blogosphere & media outbursts against ah jib & 1mdb ...
