It's mandatory for the majority shareholder(s) to make the offer when they cross certain %.

But it's up the minority shareholders to accept or reject the offer. So ignore if you do not want to accept.

That 1.25% profit is not a lot. Im not sure how or when VT will pay you that 80 sen. If he pays you fast, then maybe you can do this multiple times.

Berjaya is hungry for this company's shares! Ask the directors to accept the offers in oder to achieve their target of 51% and make REDTone their subsidiary. This kind of announcement will triger more people to accept offers too, so they might end up much more than 51%, if that happen, wonderful, not much free float shares in the market, then only all the good news will come in and by then the share price can be skyrocket high. Just look at how they pushed up BJAUTO, from an IPO price of 75.0 sen to now RM4.00! Huge profits.

Mayb Directors fully aware the future performance might not be as rosy as it projected , hence they all agreed to sell to VT , unlike to HRH Johore ??? Looks likely price is heading South below "Johore" .ha ha After the latest qtr result , EPS 0.61 !!!! Could be gd timing to collect if it drop below 0.65 ??? Bear in mind, somewhere down the round mafia VT will b their Chairman ????

If you read the press release carefully, Berjaya has actually obtained 49.77%, just short by 0.23%! But if take the 40.85M ICULS that owned by Berjaya yet to be converted, they have more than 50.0% already, so it is unconditional by right by now. Then why? My simply logic is : they still want more and more share, that's why extended the closing date.
