agree, with reduced borrowing they can give more dividends. EPS last year was 18cent, which mean simple PE 10x is translate to TP RM1.80, which is close to its NTA RM1.99 In the past, they were brought down by project delay but based on latest annual report, they have addressed this issu by appointing 2 new officers.
today is a good day....Symlife + GOB - both counters are moving.... But can anyone advice ....why GOB share price can move while volume transacted is not much??? Like GOB share price can +0.03 whilst volume is only 482K whilst SymLife share price +0.04 whilst volume is a whopping 6M.
Symlife is a bit better than gob in my own view As its already completed reorg and already strong financially U can see that symlife is already in strong footing - rewarding its shareholder with dividend and bonus warrants and most of it land bank has not been revalued , else the NTA easily >$3 Gob also good , it has land in Penang , but it is at stage of getting additional funds from shareholders - there is a rights issue pending .. While symlife they no need anymore fund , strong footing and ready to go.. Good luck!
@ kk123, what you say is very true....GOB is in the midst of getting shareholder's funds via rights issue and their landbank is not that much compared to SymLife...
Yes , according to symlife boss, azman yahya now they are in strong financial footing ..such that many financial institution keen to borrow them money for project financing .. So symlife no need to ask anymore funds from shareholders Now they are in strong footing to grow via JV etc They have much more land than gob .. About 1000 acres yet to be developed So just buy and hold la .. No need to worry ..
Symlife is well positioned to profit both in a good and bad property market - besides sungai loong, the bulk of their land is located at Kedah. For that, i believe they will be building terrace houses which cater for the middle class Kedahans. This will carry them through bad times.....
It's cheap bro.. Go in before too late .. But buy and hold la sure make ! Its a very well manage under azman yahya ... u see those funny company like ecoworld also can move to rm$5 with little earnings and track record and no dividend .. Ya Symlife is like Huayang or Tambun ....taking care of small investors...that is why more and more ikan bilis like them.......the real rewards for holding these types of shares..........
why 50% discount but not 2x, 3x appreciation like Ecoworld? If eco world can make it rm5 and above, why not symlife ^.^... wonderful closing and happy trading everyone
Have confidence in Tan sri azman yahya.. Good management.. If ecoworld under liew kee sin can move to $5 with much lesser earnings and land bank ...why can't symlife ? Symlife shld be no problem.. It has prime land in Bkt Ceylon , kepong, klcc got one project coming - star residence near Ambank the GDV is in the billions, plus Kota bahru , kedah , Penang , negeri sembilan and Sabah .. 1000 acres of land not developed yet in particular the sg long one shld be worth a lot .. I buy also because it has dividend of 4 sen and bonus So its fits my criteria .. Usually I don't buy any counter with no dividend at all .. Cause the earnings can be fake .. A counter like symlife - consistently have dividend and bonus shld fit a lot of fund mgr long term criteria ..Even the company itself planning share buy backs .. Plus it's well connected , as the boss tan Sri azman yahya is well known in the corporate world.. If not , it wouldn't be able to do so many deals and JVs.. Enough said..good luck !

if the share price momentarily comes down these few days (which is more than probable given the over bought position), then it is a good opportunity for long term investors to load up.
But i agree that the following factors will cause a second wave.. (1): quarterly result to be released by the end of this month - expected to be a very good quarter and (2): shares buy back - targeted 10% reduction from 310M to 279M.
This share buy back alone will have a very beneficial impact for us retail investors.
Symlife is a fundamental counter.. Unlike those goreng counter where many get whack down... The retailers are mostly trap by goreng counter like sumatec, Marco , pdz , etc
when will the report release?....as what i know October will have a big property fair....7million population in selangor including KL...and this number increasing every year....hopefully hv a good report card..
