Pantech AGM on 29 August 2013 at 10.00 am at Bahamas 2&3, Level 12, Sunway Resort Hotel.. to table Proposed Renewal of Share Buy-Back...The proposal will be tabled as Special Business...

Potential advantages:

1. Stabilise supply and demand as well as price of shares.

2.To retained as treasury shares or resold on BMSB at a higher price with the intention of realising potential capital gain for the company without affecting the total issued and paid up capital of the company.

3. Would effectively reduce the number of shares..therefore EPS of the company would be increased and would benefit the shareholders.

4. Shareholders may enjoy an increase in the value of their investment arising from the consequent increase in EPS.

Nxt week US mkt short trading week due to Public holidays falling on 2/9 Mon & 5/9 Thurs respectively. Investors r advised to watch closely the following:-

1)6/9 - US Non Farm Payroll data which will determine the direction of Fed's
tapering policy.
2)17/9 & 18/9 Fed Open Mkt Committee meeting.

So it is advisable not to invest for longterm strategy due to uncertainties ahead getting closer.

many counters are in downtrend, not inline with the surging index, probably its the usual happenings for the week last trading day but i believe its more likely due to the syrian problems

Short-term mkt sentiment moderate n can take up position but next week is quite uncertain n hv to be cautious. Hv to watch closely the US Non Farm Payroll data on 6/9 & the most crucial is the Fed Open Mkt Committee meeting on 17/9 & 18/9 which will be the decisive factor on the global mkt direction.
