Next week will be the last week of trading for me. And Trops chose to rise to the occasion. This has been the worst stock I have chosen and only coming one year holding it, I feel sick to the core. Choosing a stock does not mean it must rise all the time especially if you are an investor holding for long periods however , you must know and accept the truth about the stock u purchase and be truthful about the strength and weakness.

When I bought Trops, I accepted the strength and weakness however I did not expect amateur moves by the top management at this level and this has never happen as obvious as this before under Dijaya branding. If you look back at the one year, the expectations of regular announcment did not change much except for the explicit announcment . We already know what announcement that is ie PP2 and that did not sit well with a lot of investors as the poor concept and timing in the announcement boiled down to one person and it's published in the business news with his name and not from me. That was not the only one and include Trops. Mall premature announcement too. For those not in the know, there were PPs which were cancelled before like the one in 2012 and did not cause any downward spiral in share price at that point and was helmed by Danny then. So why the PP2 in 2013 created this. Mind you PP1 was priced at 1.78 the S & C who bought into specifics into it know what exacly I am talking about. Never see CIMB covering here apart from RHB who else?

Now, understand where I am coming from. I won't put sweetener when there is no requirement for it and I will add salt if the decision is not right because holding a long term stock requires annual build up apart from just revenue and performance of key indicators. When really translated it is reputation which also means reliability. That's why I have many times ask for Danny to be back in the driver seat as he can be understood by the investors.

This stock will peak again this year and in believe it will pass 2.20 however whether it holds well will depend on the top management in putting their priorities right and keeping their reliability balance!

i think u r just not fit to be involved in stock market, u r too emotional, too details on paper announcement, and u cant get over a loss. cut loss and move on is very normal to any trader and u shouldnt feel anything about it. here u been whining on trops for weeks after promoting it for months.

there is always a reason why FD is created, for ppls just like u.
leave stock market game to others. they r not your game.

OTB has quote b4 if you get 6 out of 10 stocks right, you are considered very good. However 6 out of 10 stocks are not in monetary percentage or measured in periods when it was quoted. Since he is a trader 6 out of 10 should happen within 3 mths or less majority of the time. And if he is correct majority, I would think 4 out of 6 stock should be within 3mths which means one years he can re churn his money 4 times with 16 accurate stocks a years. We know OTB like below rm1 stock very much and tries to double it or make 50% the least. Considering the 16 stocks he is accurate in a year, and he does 50% upside base on stocks less than a ringgit, he would be doing 50 cents each counter multiply by the number of stock units he holds in each counter.
Correct me if I m wrong OTB, you keep saying you don't have much cash but to roll the above, you need need 50% game play cash and 50% std by. Game play cash at least rm500k to 700k and std by 300k. That makes at least 700k to 1 million in his arsenal of play. correct ah Mr OTB my fren. Having above 1 M does not surprise me but my number is on you speeding in the stock market......lol

My measurement is in monetary for my performance over the last 5 years. With EnO at current price I am doing avg annually 40% and with trop on the way up I believe in can cash out close to 50 % annual over the last 5 years . Big thanks to Axiata bought at 1.80 thanks to Jamaluddin, and the rest I have mention in earlier mail. Tambun was sweet but not as sweet as Axiata for the type of charisma is ensued. This means if I sell off my balance 40 % of shares I would have done 250% over 5 years.

Want to understand how it is done, just need to get your concept correct.
Understand why Trader and investors are very different.
Investors buys at all different price while trader like volume at low price. Why?
Let's take a number ....a 50cent share. A trader confident, buys high volume say 500k shares to 1million at a cost of rm250k to rm500k. For a 1cent gain his range of profit can go from rm5k to rm10k base on the share range. So it's important to have cash and volume for trader to make big. Imagine 10cents gain.

Whereas an investor like me are lazier ppl but dig very deep into a stock. Even the CEOs grandparents name is in my list. I can even do the same about you if I wanted to. Now you know?

if u r really investor. why do u need to monitor stock price everyday and dig into all annoucements big or small?

u think u r investor but u try to trade stocks thats the problem.

u appear to be least lazy ppl in i3.

the worst thing that can happen to an investor is to trade.
i have seen many rich ppls turn from investors into trading and then holding whole busket of out of fashion stocks or troubled coma stocks.

stick to what u do best, kcloh.

Arhhhh I see some one in new in investment but claim advance.. If not familiar read my comment on the number of invested and trade stocks that I have or use to have.
Before that read also my comment on OTB...... So if he hold 2 to 3 stocks more than 3 mths or more than 6 mths against the 16 trade a year, do I call OTB an Investor or trader.
