As the Delta variant rapidly spreads, US hotspots have seen climbing cases -- and an expert warns a "surprising amount" of Covid-19 deaths could soon follow.

The US is averaging about 19,455 new cases over the last seven days, a 47% increase from the week prior, according to data from Johns Hopkins University. And a third of those, CNN Medical Analyst Dr. Jonathan Reiner said, come from five hotspots: Florida, Louisiana, Arkansas, Missouri and Nevada.

"In places like Missouri where ICUs are packed, you're going to see a surprising amount of death," Reiner said on Sunday.

At Mercy Hospital in Springfield, Missouri, 91% of ICU patients are on ventilators and many are in their 20s, 30s and 40s, Chief Administrative Officer Erik Frederick told CNN Saturday. That is especially concerning, he said, because at the peak last year there were only 40 to 50% of ICU patients on ventilators.

Many 20,30 & 40yrs are on ventilators. This is how serious Delta is. In coming months things will get much worse in US.

Mm, next time please don’t simply accuse ppl if without proof! I’m that kind of ppl never tease on ppl, bad mouth ppl or simply accuse ppl if without proof! I just hope everyone here no matter buy or sell, just keep respect each other! If ppl simply accuse me without any proof, and i know where he stay… Then I’ll go to his house ‘everyday’ to ask for proof!!! Hope you get it!!

Supermx management expect.the.coming qtr profit to be the same as last qtr.which.is about 1 billion based on the following input.

ASP have reach a peak in the March quarter.
Supermax’s ASP starting to see a drop in 2Q2021 which is earlier than our expectation in 2H2021.
Blended ASP still rose in 3QFY21 = Jan: USD84.61 (+1.3% mom), Feb: USD87.65 (+3.6% mom), March: USD89.2 (+1.7% mom).
Going forward, nitrile ASP (factory level) for April - June is about USD80-110, while July onward deteriorating to about USD70.
Currently, spot prices are lower than contracted prices and Supermax’s current spot prices for shipment in June is slipping down to USD70-80. As Supermax mostly sells its products under contract basis (its spot <5% of total production), it is expecting that blended ASP will not be significantly impacted in at least next 2 quarters
