Kingwu Financial News | Tianfeng Securities Research and Development reported that Baidu (09888) Q4 total revenue was 35 billion yuan, +5.7% year-on-year; Non-GAAP net profit was 7.8 billion yuan, +44% year-on-year. Baidu's total annual revenue was 134.6 billion yuan, +9% year-on-year; Non-GAAP net profit was 28.7 billion yuan, +39% year-on-year.

The bank pointed out that relying on the unremitting efforts of the central and local governments to promote economic growth, the growth of national consumption during the Spring Festival, and Baidu's management strategy of compressing organizational levels and enhancing the efficiency of strategic resource allocation, the bank estimates that the company will achieve solid revenue growth in 24Q1 . The bank is optimistic about Baidu's dominant position in developing LLM and GenAI, as well as its potential to improve model performance and promote the monetization of artificial intelligence through technological innovation.

Based on Baidu's strong performance in the previous fiscal year, which may reflect its operating resilience under the complex macroeconomic situation and the steady development of Wen Xinyiyan's AI business, the bank adjusted its FY2024-2025 revenue forecast from 147.4/163.8 billion yuan to 145.9 billion yuan. /161.8 billion yuan, the company is forecast to achieve revenue of 181 billion yuan in FY2026; FY2024-2025 Non-GAAP operating profit is adjusted from 318/34.1 billion yuan to 314/33.7 billion yuan, and the company's FY2026 Non-GAAP operating profit is forecast to be 37.7 billion yuan. Based on the SOTP valuation, Baidu's advertising, cloud business, and iQiyi non-advertising revenue in 2024 are rated 8xP/E, 3xP/S, and 14xPE respectively, corresponding to a target price of HK$133, maintaining a "buy" rating.
