Dont touch Mah Sing and Ecoworld. Most developers are not doing well and these 2 in particular have high debt and running too many projects at the same time.
Lctitan is just being oversold, now indon is a mess. But who care people just being ignorance and goreng2 petrochemicals now. haha ..#I have avoided this since IPO (Best decision ever).

jackson : u dont analyze just purely like that. you have to look at the type of business. first of all you missed that they have sukuk bonds and other long term borrowings of 1.2b. Remember a 2-3 years ago they were half dead and raise this sukuk bond to save them. Secondly, some of the deposits are due to HDA accounts. I will just tell you that they got crap reputation ( ask your contractor friends ) and most ppl who bought their developments didnt make money over the past 2 years. They are good in managing their financials to keep financiers happy.
borntospeculate you are wise in all your analysis here , can you advice 1/2 counters that are good to invest for medium to long term . at this current time things are cheap .TQ
latest annual report announced today current asset 6.1b non current asset 7.7b total asset 13.8b current liabilities 0.75b non current liabilities 0.8b total liability 1.58b lctitan $1.60 way under value
BTS, aiya, I didn’t see ur message. I just bought 8,000lots of Mah Sing just now at 43.5sen. Relying on 3.35sen (Dividend yield 8%) to cover my loan (3.6% interest). Anyway, I also have a lot of LC Titan now (2,500 lots). Let’s see which one perform better.
Huatexpert : 22m is actually about 3% and yest about 5% of free float shares in market. Assuming its 2.3b shares ( and you discount 70% of that coz Lotte Chemical Korea is not going sell shares at this price ), this counter is actually not too bad. Speculators don’t buy this kind of shares la, They go for Hibiscus, Dayang, Etc
And those you need to worry even more about coming QR coz no 1 really knows the impact. For e.g. when oil price was USD 65, Hibiscus was 80-90 cents i think ? Now oil price is USD20-30 and its 48 cents. Don’t forget there is a cost and breakeven for oil extraction. For LCTITAN there demand and production might drop but there is upside already and anyway they will benefit from lower cost due to oil higher selling prices now due to PP.
My take is some local funds are increasing their stake ( most of shares held by funds anyway ) to average their high costs and coz dividend is coming.
Let me share 1 thing...if u play FIFO,u cant think well...when price drop or up,cant make decission... But if u understand the FA of company, sure u all will buy at around 1.2++ & waiting to explode...
If lotte chemical corporation (holding 76% shares) wants to privatize lctitan at $2.50(50% of naps),they need to fork out Rm$1.4b only.Market cap of lotte chemical corporation is Rm$240b
The city had seen a sudden proliferation of melt-blown fabric producers as prices for the material skyrocketed. The wholesale price of melt-blown fabric has increased from $2,260 to as much as $97,500 per ton in under six months, according to the Yicai financial news website.
Actually I don’t like high volume because it means more people are buying this share at cheaper prices when it increases in the future. These people who hold cheap shares can throw the prices and will impact the rising share prices. If the volume hits high at higher prices I’ll feel better.
you need some volume to stabilize price whether its uptrend or downtrend. if it rises too fast without volume, it wont be able to sustain and rest of participants of market will know it wont hold
