Today many investors became a quarry of MacQuarry rating of rm 4 for Natgate. MacQ did the same in Jun 2020 when it upgraded Topglove to rm 30 then it fell like a rock, then sold and later downgraded it a month later. RHB Research concludes: The new restriction could affect supply chains that are in the ecosystem of GPU and CPU servers. Names like Nationgate (>85% of revenue) and PIE Industrial ( <10% currently) could be directly affected given their businesses in the AI-server/switches assembly businesses.
This Nvidia AI chips curbs & rules are quite similar to the restriction of Malaysia gloves to US market in 2020...so what can you expect from Trump 2.0 or more?
Just wait, investing now is between a 20% risk and 80% uncertainty.
There will be curbs for certain...but how severe?
Remember, TopGlove dived from rm30 to rm1 and still in comatose situation.
