Half yearly window dressing.Dow has pullback 3/4 of April's gain.
Fear 1: Federal Reserve to scale back its stimulus program by the end of 2013 IF the economy continues to pick up...not yet happen
Fear 2: China's credit crunch triggers confidence fear...still early to ascertain.
Result:market fear overdone.
Tomorrow is rollover of index futures contract for Asian market, market activities will ignore tonight's Dow plunge.

Keep your investment capital and wait the right timing by next few months on my opinion.

social stability is priority #1 in China, the issue will not roll into disaster. the matter is more about China internal control

I think china has been a responsible economy leader going by its record previously. Just that market doesn't like uncertainty from the looks of it. The market is just spooked what will the new communist leaders and premier going to do.

actually, china central bank is very clear on the overall situation, it's house keeping time for china finance industry. china style is "do whatever it takes to achieve", doesn't matter who is unhappy outside their border, including U.S. in fact, china central just issued bond that vacuum 2 billion from the market; rather than pouring $.

those who leverage on "shadow" $ will soon "behave" themselves, believe it will not take long :)

the issue has been a while already, finally ccb took the opportunity recently where fed "sounded" qe scale down; to squeeze the $ market. this is actually good to the global markets. http://www.reuters.com/article/2013/06/23/us-china-economy-xinhua-idUSBRE95M01Z20130623
