Sharing for weekend reading,not a buy call.Happy weekend everyone.
Prestar is invovle in ...
- Slitting & shearing of carbon & stainless steel mother coils into slitted coils / sheets for automotive, electrical & electronic, office equipment, metal stamping indsutries;
- Roll forming of carbon steel pipes and hollow sections;
- Roll forming of stainless steel pipes & hollow sections;
- Manufacturing of steel flat bars, steel purlines;
- Manufacturing of wheelbarrows and platform hand trucks;
- Manufacturing of steel shelving & pallet racking and other storage equipment;
- Manufacturing of highway guardrails

The massive construction on both infrastructural, residential and commercial properties had contributed positively to the company income growth.

The company had recorded a 58% growth in the EPS in FYE 2013 compared to 2012 of 4.42 cents, Prestar ended FYE 2013 with EPS of 7.01 cents.

Its NTA stood at RM 1.11 per share as at Dec 31 2013. It is worth nothing that the company had a number of land and properties reserved that had yet to be revalued.

Prestar’s prospects remain bright as the company had been set to bag more lucrative projects, especially highway guardrails from going forward …

- West Coast Expressway, 273km (40km linking Ipoh to WCE to be built later);

- DASH Highway 20.1km;

- Kidex Highway 14.9km;

- SCORE corridor (320km stretch from Tanjung Manis to Samalaju), extension to Mukah, Baram and Tunoh
There is rumor that Prestar had bagged in the WCE project for guardrails which is worth more than RM400m for the 273km stretch. A 15% profit margin will contribute towards a net EPS of RM0.33 (Based on RM60m profit / 180.98m shares) on top of its current business and operation. The WCE whcih carries a GDV of RM6b will see actual job fully dished out on 2H 2014.
In addition ongoing KVMRT Line 1, the KVMRT Line 2 and the future of KVMRT Line 3 will continue to see steel demand in the coming years from 2014.

tm932 - no worries. Yup, still holding Amprop. As for Sunzen I went in some at 27 sen yesterday. This is more for quick trade and ready to sell for a 2-4 sen gain. Sold EG for 6.5/7.0 sen profit. Still holding 40% Ijacobs (in at 36 sen) after having sold 30% each at 40.5 and at 42.5. I am glad (and relieved) that tsy88 made some money on Fiamma and EG though he didn't follow me on Ijacobs ( was rather late by the time he saw my posting).

Will be running through the list and post it here by tomorrow night and appreciate your (and others from TCB as well) readings if you have the time.

tsy88 - usually resistance would turn into support. Not necessarily highs will become support. In EG's case, i would say the support levels are at 0.79 and 0.755.

You can set your trailing stop like that too. There are many ways of setting it depending on individuals. It also depends on your cost price and how much risk you want to take. You may want to work from the highs, 0.875 in this case. If the stock trends down losing momentum, a trader may want to lock in profits if it hits, say, 0.85 or 0.84 before it goes down further. A profitable trade can become marginally profitable and in turn can become a losing trade. The main objective is to protect and realize the profits.

Profitman I agreed with u, but I see too many r fighting to sell at the highest as to show off? They will laugh at u once u sold a share n it went higher.
they have no ideas of opportunity cost, risk vs rewards etc. Many hang on to a stock trying to sell at the record high price. Especially in malassia. N yes, many see their gain turn into losses.

hareshl2003 - IJACOBS:

Currently bullish, with support level of 0.39 and 0.35 and resistance level of 0.44. If it breaks the resistance level with volume above volume MA it will go to an uncharted region or else it will consolidate. TP is 0.495 and 0.53. Stop-loss or trailing stop at 0.3.

CautiousTrader - MULPHA
Consolidating between 0.41 and 0.44. Support level of 0.44 (resistance turned support) and 0.435, Resistance level of 0.465 and 0.455. It has already breakout from the consolidation and the breakout volume is not really high, might need see how's the movement on monday. If true breakout, it will re-test it's resistance level of 0.465, if not it will get pullback and consolidate again. Stop-loss at 0.40. Immediate target of 0.47.

Happy trading~

tsy88 - Silk:

It remains bullish and yes, at the moment, it is consolidating. A break in its immediate resistance of 1.03 with volume will signal a breakout to resume its bullish run. It has found strong support at 0.96. Upon a successful breakout, when we would expect it to take down the resistant of 1.05 in the process, it will carry TPs of 1.11, 1.16 and 1.20. You may want to set a stop loss at 0.95.

Old Stock Update--30/06

BREM—Sideways consolidating between $2.01/$2.08 .Upward Momentum but must break above $2.12 for a price reversal . Sell on any Rebound to release my capital.

ENGTEX—Stage 1 Sideways movement of $1.83 to $1.93. It did fill the gap of $1.90/$1.93 on 24/06 but failure to close above the Gap imply more sideways consolidation. A break above $1.93 will find strong resistance at $1.98.

WCT—Sideways movement of $2.18 to $2.25. If break $2.25 with volume next strong resistance is at $2.30 and immediate target at $2.35.I may clear WCT to protect my capital after receiving the dividends.

Happy Trading..

Stock Update

SEACERA—It is still under consolidation after recent high of $0.965.Immediate support adjusts to $0.89 and any weakness towards its support offer opportunity to collect for future play. A break above $0.965 with volume will take it to its previous high of $0.975 and into uncharted territory.
I have raised my Trailing Stop to $0.885 to protect my profits because it is my trading strategy always lock in profits when I am on a winning stock.

Note: If you are collecting during weakness you may want to set the Stop Loss if $0.87 is violated for Short term traders.

Happy Trading

Hi Bonus /CautiousTrader,
JAG:
This stock is currently under consolidation. After reaching the high of $0.69, it gone into a big pull back to $0.23 before it started climbing back. Unfortunately, it couldn’t break above the resistance at $0.39 which would have a bullish implication if it broke out with volume. It is currently supported at $0.35. If it turns back up, the immediate resistance is again at $0.39 follows with $0.475. Please note that if its break above $0.39, it probably still need to clear some overhangs before able to reach $0.475.

If it retraces further, it will find next immediate support at $0.335 and $0.295 respectively. Stop loss if $0.23 is violated with volume. Do take note that 2 full red candlesticks (one lower than the former) was formed on the last 2 trading days. If the price movement on Monday forms yet another full and lower red candlestick, three black crows pattern can be formed which indicates potential top reversal signal (bearish). The momentum is currently moving downward.

Happy trading.

novice8,After ex-Dividend now you can also enjoy the profits from the stock itself..

MUDA—Very Bullish and carry on its stage 2 of the cycle.Broke out from its Bullish Flag pattern with a Runaway Gap and hit its previous high of $2.00. It is expected to move into uncharted territory and carry an estimated target of $2.25 with next resistance at $2.10. Any weakness due to profit taking should find immediate support at $1.96/$1.94. I have set my Trailing Stop at $1.92 to protect my profits or may sell further into strength to lock in part profits.

Note:Do set your own trailing Stop (from the supports i mentioned) to protect your profits too just in case of any Big Pullback.Remember never let a winning stock become a losing stock because of greed. If you let that happen it will destroy your confident in stock trading.

Happy Trading.

SEPHIROTH168

KGB

On 11/3, it breakout from Rounding Bottom at $0.42 which should be very bullish. During recent rally from 11/3 to 15/5, the RSI is forming Price/RSI Bearish Divergence. And also, It failed to remain above $0.42 and looked very bearish. Right now, it is consolidating btw 0.40 and 0.42. If break above 0.42, may test strong resistance at 0.44.
A break below $0.385 with volume signal Trend Reversal (Stage 4-Mark down). Cut loss if $0.385 is violated.

Lottolearn

Skpetro

I did read the chart on Jun 11, 2014

Stage 3- distribution. It is just violate the long term up trend few more weeks ago. The support is very strong at 3.97. On 10/6 and 11/6, the price is open higher than previous closing price indicate price reversal. Price will further test 4.20 and test 4.27. Need to break 4.35 to be trend reversal.

I did read the chart On Jun 20 at 11.30 am

Stage 2- Accumulation which is very bullish. The price has already break 4.35 and the trend is reverse to upward trend. It breakout the strong resistance at 4.4 with volume. If the 4.4 hold (need to see the closing price today), it is expected to re test the previous high of 4.8 and beyond with next resistance at 4.56. Congratulation, you are on a winner, but do remember to set a Trailing Stop to protect your profits in case there is a big pullback.

After reading on 29/6

Still in market cycle 2 which is very bullish. The price is consolidating btw 4.34 and 4.41 with healthy reduced volume. May find immediate support at 4.34/4.36. Need to break above 4.52/4.56 in order to re test the previous high 4.8. Immediate downtrend line now is at 4.65. If break above 4.65, there is a major trend reversal. This level also coincide with weekly chart of Falling Wedges which has bullish implication.

Bravo-Aeon/NTPM

Aeon retrace after a shooting star formed on the 24th June accompany with overbought situation. Profit taking can be notice after a sharp surge since 17th June.However it's well supported above 20MA. There might be some selling pressure for the next couple of days frm the
contra players before the price settles down.A strong support is seen around the 20MA @ 3.83 level. A stop loss if 3.70 is triggered.
Resistance 4.33 if the manage to scale above 3.98 level with volume and the next resistance would be 4.64.

NTPM
Weekly and daily charts show its trading in the negative region/bearish.There was some buying supports seen on the 26th June but it cannot sustain to carry the stock upwards.Btw RSI is at oversold position and seen improving.If you intend to go for bottom fishing on this stk, watch for volume and momentum.
Resistance - 0.84 and 0.86.
Key supports can be found at 0.835 and 0.825.
A stop loss if 0.805 violated.

Hi tsy88,
OCB:
This stock is in bullish trend with a gap up on 27/06 to reach a new all-time high of $0.995 with very strong volume. An estimate TP of $1.04/$1.05 if the price continues to move up. However, do take note that there is a recent price/RSI divergence which indicates a potential slowing momentum and this may mean the gap up may be potentially filled up downward.

If it retraces, it will find the following supports at S1-$0.90, S2-$0.85 and S3-$0.75 respectively. Depending on your risk profile, you may want to set a stop loss at $0.75 if violated with volume.

Happy trading.

Juntan - GPA:

After the high of 0.15 on 12/5, it has gone into consolidation and is currently in range bound trading with support at 0.11 and resistance at 0.135. It needs to break its resistance at 0.135 with volume in order to scale higher.

GPA-WA:

Seems to be bottoming out on a down trend and trading in a rectangle with 0.005 support and 0.02 resistance.

I don't really know what you mean by short term money but I assume you are referring to a short term trade on this stock. We can present you with the TA reading but we can't advise you whether it is good for a short term trade. You will have to make your own decision.

Please note that with GPA, even with a break out, some traders would still want confirmation that the break out is sustainable by observing that its price stay above 0.135 for at least 3 trading days and with volume. If not, you may be caught in a false breakout. Such stocks have a lot of overhang and you will notice from the chart that each attempt to scale higher were met with selling pressures. So, your timing becomes crucial.
