"Knowledge without discipline is dangerous, discipline without knowledge has little value"
1) We are here to help out any I3 members of their stock TA. If you need help on any stock chart just address us as “Dear TCB..”
2) We encourage traders to buy stocks with a trading plan. Before you buy please have a Stop Loss in case the stocks go against you.
3) We encourage traders to cultivate a winning habit, that is to lock in profits often when the opportunity arises. Be focused. We are here with one purpose only, that is to make money, never let a winning trade become a losing trade.
4) We encourage traders to set a Trailing Stop to protect their profits when riding on a winning trade.
5) We encourage other traders that have TA knowledge to participate and help out others on TA. In this way we all can learn together.
6) We will never recommend any stock in this thread as Buying and Selling is solely your own decision and your own risk.
7) We may post the stocks that we are interested in, together with a TA reading on it for the purpose of sharing. These TA readings are to cultivate habits of 'Discipline' and 'Plan' before trading .
tsy88 - I am not a big player and if you were to read my postings in 932kaki, I am always contented with small gains as I believe one will not get rich from the stock market. Or probably just 1 or 2%. Of course it's not exactly coffee or beer money. It's very important for new players especially to understand this. They can afford not to win, but can they afford to lose ?
tsy88 - good morning. like I mentioned, bones write up is always after when he sees sudden surges in volume in normally lowly traded counters (Ipmuda, Dolmite). Nevertheless he is doing a great job. My approach is to spot such counters and get in early before other does for minimal risks. Knowing our local market there will always be a gap up today, probably not in the opening but later when the situation over the plane crash and Israel conflict cool down. Anyway Ewein is still good for the medium term.
The Dow was actually up in the early hours of trading but the trend was reversed and them extended losses in the last hour of trading as Israel sent ground forces into Gaza after missile attacks from both sides during the 10-day-old conflict.
Inwest88 - yeah, I know. I think Mas share price will be affected. Expect to see a sea of red on opening. Still, even in bear market, certain stocks will buck the trend. Hopefully Ewein!
SAD DAY WITH ANOTHER MH TRAGEDY. ON BEHALF OF TCB, WE EXTEND OUR DEEPEST CONDOLENCES TO THE FAMILIES OF THE VICTIMS. MAY THEIR SOULS REST IN PEACE AND OUR THOUGHTS AND PRAYERS ARE FOR THEIR FAMILIES.
sandho9 - when sentiments are down, its normal for investors to worry. However, it can also be an opportunity to buy on dips depending on how one looks at it. But whatever it is, its important to maintain discipline and follow your trading plan, reviewing your stop loss price and profit protection price. This would help eliminate a large part of your worry.
tsy88 - ppbs can hold on for a while. For Mflour I did not enter. Try not to hold too many counters at this time of uncertainty (probably I am a bit conservative). I clear other counters like Sona WA (bought some time ago at 28 sen). If you are thinking of going init Sunzen, don't ! The selling has not stopped yet.
Inwest88 - Ijacobs indeed very strong. Yeah, this stock really suits you as you have made so many rounds on this counter. I cleared all of Ewein at 63. Also cleared all of Pphb at 93 in afternoon to lock in profit. Besides, I also save some charges on intra day. Intend to re-enter on Monday as it still looks very strong.
Will clear Ock on Monday. Am making on this one. Bought atc1.44 and today closed at 1.53, new high. Have keyed in 1.60 to sell.
Nihsin - will take a look at it. Not familiar with this stock.
You are absolutely right. Cant be holding on too many counters. Have to excercise caution.
Inwest88 - during trading hours, I dont look at TCB thread asI am concentrating and monitoring the stocks. Thus when you post it here once you have bought a certain stock, I only get to see it after market close. Also during lunch break.
Livermore - you are most welcome. Inwest88 is actually the person who has contributed a lot by sharing his stock picks with us. I am just giving my views, nothing really that significant compared to Inwest88.
tsy88, (1) Congrats on your Ewein and PPHB gains. I sold another 15% Ewein at 63 sen and now left with 75%. Still holding PPHB (2) Sold 50% Nihsin at 25 sen to lock in some profits (3) Mikromb - do not be deceived by the rise in price. The selling will continue probably continue next week unless those behind change their minds
Dear TCB, has there been an analysis on LUSTER before. If yes, in which page/date. Although high volume the price has not moved much. High volume at 0.095 tend to block price moving up. Having been holding this stock at 0.100 for some time now. Is it better to hold or cut loss which means a loss for me. Tq.
Inwest88 - good morning. Congrats to you too on Ewein, Nihsin. Dow back up again so hope for another fruitful week ahead. Am stuck with Ipmuda. Probably will pick up and hold for short term. Giving 3 cents dividend on 23 July.
tsy88 - good morning. Looking at the tremendous surge in volume, I reckon that there is something brewing. At the moment I think they are still trying to clear the overhang. Once done it may shoot, failing which then I will considering selling.
Currently retracing after hitting a high of 0.94 under profit taking pressures. It is on a bearish mode. Thus far, it has retraced 50% since it broke out into the current bullish phase on 28/5. Further retracements can be expected as the selling pressure does not appear to have fully subsided. If indeed it retraces further, it will test its support at 0.685 and 0.62 respectively. Its immediate resistance rest at the gap resistance of 0.77/0.775.
Bullish on wave 3 and consolidated in a pennant for the past 2 weeks. On 18/7, it broke the resistance at 4.50 with volume that could signal a resumption of its bullish trend. Immediate support is 4.40. Should the upward run be sustained, it carries target prices of 4.82 and 5.14. However, it would be wise to monitor the next 2 trading sessions to confirm the run is valid supported by sufficiently high volume as there is a price/RSI bearish divergence that can have negative implications on the sustainability of the possible run up in price.
SEACERA—Weekly Chart-formed an Engulfing Bear which implies bearish sentiment in midterm unless the bear height of $1.18 can be taken off. Daily Chart—After hitting high of $2.04 on 09/07 Seacera is under healthy consolidation with reduced volume at the moment. It is not out of the wood yet and still under downward momentum and is expected to test its important support of $1.07 and if this support fails to hold expect a longer consolidation period towards $1.00 level. For short term traders if you are collecting from $1.07 to $1.10 please set a stop loss if $1.06 is violated as the next meaningful support is at $1.00/$0.97.Any rebound should find immediate resistance at $1.18/$1.20.
Nylex registered a high of 74 on 28th April and also recently on 10th July. Does this point to a double top formation in the making and therefore prices are set to correct from this level going forward?
WILLOW--—On Weekly Chart, The Dark Cloud formed on week 02/05 at $0.915 is shadowing the upward movement of Willow so unless this dark cloud is cleared it has formed the top at $0.915 for mid term. Daily Chart—The gap support of $0.80 to $0.815 is holding well,it may stage some technical rebound soon.Stop Loss if $0.77 is violated. As suggested in my earlier post, short term traders try to clear on any technical rebound towards $0.85/$0.875.
It is only a potential double top reversal pattern. Kindly note the term "potential". It needs to be confirmed by a decline off the 2nd peak that is accompanied with volume, a descend that is usually a quick one and it needs to break the support at 0.615 before we can declare it as a double top reversal pattern. However, judging from the chart, it looks bullish at the moment. _____________________________________________________________________ Posted by tsy88 > Jul 20, 2014 09:37 AM | Report Abuse
