Having a boat is actually very useful in times of flood! Unfortunately many can't afford to keep portable one!
I love portable boat! I been using them for more than a decade! I used to fish years ago but already stop since i catch more plastic bags than actually getting fish!
However, i think i enjoy the solitude when one is at the sea! It helps clear my mind and maybe that's why i was good at stocks back then!
I would just put it on top of my car and off we go!
But if you are not into this thing or having space for portable boat! Then what you can do is store inflatable ones!
There's tons of models in the market now! You can easily get one from online shopping!
Trust me, if you live on landed one story house, and you home is flooded, and you eyes are getting sleepy, you can sleep on your inflatable boat!
