Unfortunately our central bank had to do some adjustment in interest rate!
This should not be politized! The minimum hike is timely! And at 3%, our OPR is still very much within acceptable level given current economic situation!
Hope everybody just let this slide and go on! No need to be make a huge issue out of it!
As for PM Anwar, he should have make it clear that Bank Negara is responsible for this decision! No political intervention should be allowed except when the reduction or hike not in line with economic situation as what we see in USA!
However, government of the day also need to accept that RON95 should see a tiny increase to reduce government subsidy on it! One or two cent makes a huge difference!
