KUALA LUMPUR: Transparency in business processes can prevent corruption, says Minister in the PM's Department Datuk Seri Idris Jala.
He said removing corruption from the system is not the answer to all ills in the country.
That is only a panacea, said Idris Jala, who is also Performance Management and Delivery Unit (Pemandu) chief executive officer.
"We need to fight corruption through transparency in the business processes such as ease in doing business," he said at a plenary session entitled, "Malaysia's Growth Dynamic" at the Invest Malaysia 2014 today.
