please take note.... there is one Gumanjie group called buy this counter very log time ago and caused alot of member die because of TCS WA expired... espeacially their rubbish sifu Nagugong... So better watch out this counter.

nothing to do SSB8.
Owner of PV also owns SSB but SSB is not involved in this J.Satine project..
and Jsatine developer is Gandingan Jakel, which is a JV between PV and Jakel.

knee-jerk reaction.. everyone hoohaa now. but in time, all will be forgotten and life goes on. i suppose when the so-called "full investigation report" is out, then we all will know who is responsible. hopefully developer will follow up and issue stmt .. jgn nanti buat senyap saje. in any case, lucky that no one died or injured in the incident.
on TCS.. hmm.. who knows, buying opportunity? was 16sen now back to 14 sen.. seems that they have been winning quite a few projects recently.... could be a turnaround play? time will tell.

This is on piling contractor lah, TCS are only on main building works not TCS fault at all

I know a friend who was involved in the project, he said the problem was the piling contractor. If this is true, then it is unlikely that TCS was at fault because TCS only do the main construction work, not the piling work. Can check back bursa announcement on 21 June 2024

No matter TCS is liable or not, once this project is stop, a lot of thing will be impacted.
1st, bank will stop release payment.
2nd, those bank that borrow loan to contractor / sub-contrator that related to this project, bank also will review their loan.
3rd. Developer will hold all payment to contract while pending for investigation.
4th. For contractor, all the worker salary is count on daily one. When project stop, you either need to transfer worker to other side, or your terminate them...etc.
5) For those machinery like crane, cement machine....etc, all count by daily one, when project stop, it is either you continue to pay for it, or return back to vendor.
No one know how long it will take for the investigation, maybe 2 month, 4 months?

Actually I've been following TCS for a while. They had a tough period from 2021 to 2023 due to some unprofitable projects picked up during the MCO, but it’s encouraging to see they’ve turned things around. Since July, the company has secured three projects worth RM333 million in total. At this pace, profitability by 2025 looks promising !

it will be a long process.
developer may choose to terminate first... even if they dont, developer may not compensate for prolongation of contract. either way contractor will lose out.
now hard to say who is at fault and who is not. big blame game now.

Hard to say, because it is also a big challenge for the developer to find new contractor to clean up the mess in a short time. We will see how it goes

I asked my friend who is working in construction field, he said this kind of issue is mostly due to piling problem. Simply speaking, is not TCS fault
