In generally, the warrant price should trail the mother share closely under normal circumstances. However at present there is a pair that move in complete opposite direction for no obvious reason.
BIMB-WA Exercise Price: 4.72 Ratio: 1 to 1 Maturity: 2023-12-04
BIMB-WA was once traded highest ~RM0.80 in 2014, when BIMB only trading at RM4.40. And BIMB currently trading at RM4.45 level (17-Feb-2017), which is highest since 2014, Therefore, if history was to repeat itself, BIMB-WA should price at at the very least RM0.60 very soon.
Beside its price disparity, other attractive point to note is the warrant has remaining life of ~6 years, and there are not other bank warrants in KLSE that offer such a long period to maturity nor at such a low price.

my humble take is many ikan bilis are stucked at higher prices n some like me ave down until no more money - tat is why u see so many sellers daily trying to get out. Institutional funds I believe cannot buy warrants n when they got the free ones many sold n likely to be still selling a couple of months back when there was a huge drop n vol. ikan bilis can only makan so much. I oso hope can reach .60 - .50 oso enough LOL then I can eat some nice tanduri LOL otherwise now - boss kasi satu roti kosong dan air suam :(
