GUA MUSANG: Barisan Nasional candidate Mohd Azmawi Fikri Abdul Ghani, will not turn DAP away if the party comes to help his campaign in the Nenggiri by-election.

He said, he has no right to refuse if the party is willing to go to the field and help in campaigning.

"This is a democratic country, we have no right to stop anyone from coming. Any leader can come and help the campaign.

"We have no issues with DAP leaders coming to help the campaign.

"It might even give us an advantage. We don't know, we try and leave the rest to Allah S.W.T. I openly accept that we cannot block anyone from coming to campaign, that's all," he said when met in Bertam Baru, here.

When asked about the 'Umno-DAP' or 'UmDAP' narrative raised by the opposition,  he said it was just a perception and his responsibility was to win the hearts of the voters.

"For me this issue is perception, we as candidates are responsible for dealing with the hearts of the voters," he said.
