ALOR STAR: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim today announced a RM10 million allocation for repair works and compensation for damages caused by the floods in Kedah. 

He said the allocation will be coordinated by the National Disaster Management Agency (Nadma), the Implementation Coordination Unit (ICU) and Kedah State Secretary's office. 

Anwar also expressed the federal government's commitment to provide aid for farmers and livestock breeders who suffered losses in the floods.
