BORNOIL Rights Issue ex-date is today. Many traders and investors who did not pay attention to the Rights Issue announcement were caught by surprise when the share price of BORNOIL was adjusted down this morning.

Here is the Rights Issue announcement:

Renounceable rights issue of up to 2,373,841,596 new ordinary shares of RM0.10 each in Borneo Oil Berhad ("Bornoil") ("Bornoil Share(s)") ("Rights Share(s)") on the basis of six (6) Rights Shares for every one (1) existing Bornoil Share held, together with up to 1,186,920,798 free detachable warrants in Bornoil ("Warrant(s) C") on the basis of one (1) free Warrant C for every two (2) Rights Shares subscribed for, as at 5.00 p.m. on Friday, 16 October 2015 at an issue price of RM0.10 per Rights Share ("Rights Issue with Warrants")

Kindly be advised of the following :

1) The Right commence of trading : 19 Oct 2015
2) The Date of Despatch of the Prospectus and Provisional Allotment Letter of Offer : 20 Oct 2015
3) The last day and time for Acceptance, Renunciation and Payment : 2 Nov 2015
4) The Rights cessation quotation : 26 Oct 2015

That means, for every share of BORNOIL that you are holding today:

1. You can subscribe to 6 Rights Shares at RM 0.10 each
2. You will also receive 1 free Warrant C for every 2 Rights Shares you subscribe above

So, assuming you have 1000 BORNOIL shares today, and you are prepared to subscribe fully to 6 Rights Share per BORNOIL shares you hold,

• you'll need to top up RM 600 to your investment in BORNOIL to subscribe to 6000 Rights Share at RM 0.10 each.
• you'll end up having 7000 shares, and 3000 Warrant C of BORNOIL at the end of this excerise (in November 2015)
   

Steps to subscribe to BORNOIL Rights Shares:

1. Download the Rights Issue Form from Bursa Malasia website on 16-Oct-2015 after 5pm in the evening; OR
The physical form will be sent to your correspondence address by post starting from 20-Oct-2015 by the Share Registrar office.

2. Fill in the form, and send it back to the Share Registrar office together with the required payment latest by 2-Nov-2015.

Alternatively, if you decide not to subscribe to the Rights Shares, you can sell the Right (BORNOIL-OR) starting from 19 Oct 2015.
