FBM KLCI: 1,668.82 pts (+3.17pts, +0.19%)

The FBM KLCI (+0.19%) closed higher, boosted by buying pressure in Banking and Utility heavyweights, namely CIMB (+15.0 sen) and YTL (+12.0 sen), backed by a stronger ringgit environment and robust foreigns' fund inflows following the Fed rate cut. Additionally, market breadth was positive, with gainers outnumbering losers by 732-to-468 stocks. In the broader market, the Property sector (+1.68%) was the best performer, led by SIMEPROP (+5.0 sen) and SPSETIA (+5.0 sen), while the Telco and Media sector (-0.92%) declined the most.
