Kok Leong has more than 20 years of auditing, accounting and business advisory experience with Coopers & Lybrand. He was later entrusted to head and develop Tenaga Koperat Sdn Bhd, the Secretarial Unit of Coopers & Lybrand. He left Tenaga Koperat Sdn Bhd five years later, in June 1999 and became the founding member of Total Corporate Compliance Sdn Bhd (TCC).

Subsequently, TCC became a subsidiary company of Tricor Group in 2006 after the sale of shares. Kok Leong continued to lead Tricor Malaysia until his retirement as the CEO & Managing Director on 30 September 2023. He also acted as Company Secretary for a number of large Public Listed Companies during his tenure with Tricor Malaysia.

Presently, he is a member of the Tribunal Committee & Audit Committee of MAICSA. He had also served as a member of the Law Review Committee of MAICSA. He occasionally speaks at seminars and forums.
