Ms Julia is a Chartered Accountant and a Member of The Association of Chartered Certified Accountants UK (ACCA) and Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA).

In January 2013, Ms Julia joined with a professional firm Ecovis Malaysia PLT as a Tax Assistant. She left the firm as Senior Tax Manager in May 2021. She was responsible for conducting tax compliance services and tax advisory for corporations and individuals.

From May 2021 to present, Ms Julia jointly set up an accounting firm with her business partner, JT & CY Advisory and 8finity LLP which provides accounting, tax, and corporate advisory services. At the same time, she also joined Singapore firm 8finity X Pte Ltd as a Chief Operating Officer, where the company is principally involved in the provision of professional services such as accounting, secretarial, and tax services.
