Better wait for Wilmar's result, then only decide to average down or cut loss.

wilmar results may not be good. currently down 8 sen in sgx. ppb is down 68 sen currently. i have sold half of my holdings. been holding it for a long long time. i think those brick and mortar companies are things of the past. we have to move along with time.

Entah. Only insider will know. But at least we know that dividend of S$0.16 is secured in 2024 from Wilmar which is about RM650M in total.

Averaged down @ $11.96 yesterday to bring my cost for 349 shares down to below $12.73, not too high compared to the current level. First time I will be receiving >$100 in dividends from this stock after trading in & out since Oct 2014 for 5X & $228.54 in realized gains so the waiting time has already been paid for...😉

obviously epf is selling. they have been selling the last few days before the news came out. ppb share of the deposit is rm600m or 42 sen per share only if wilmar is proven guilty. net assets backing is 18.83. wilmar's share in sgx is steady while we panic sell. just my 2 sen. everyone love a good bargain.

Expect it to drop a lot on friday but it didn't. Anyway, not keen on PPB anymore, don't want to get heart attack when another bad news pop up.

As of end-March 2025, PPB held total cash of RM1.761 billion, compared to total borrowings of RM305.16 million.
Wilmar remains PPB’s key profit contributor. In FY2024, Wilmar contributed RM992 million to PPB’s total profit before tax of RM1.33 billion
