Tan Sri Datuk Ling was appointed as Non-Independent Non-Executive Chairman of SYSCORP in 2010 and since then, Tan Sri Datuk Ling has been involved to oversee the development and growth of the Group.
Tan Sri Datuk Ling is the founder and Group Executive Chairman of the well diversified Shin Yang Group of Companies involving in reforestation, wood based downstream activities, property development, infrastructure projects and public toll concession, oil palm plantation, public transportation, hypermarkets and hotel businesses. He has extensive experience and technical know-how to lead our Group to become an established shipping operators and leading shipbuilder in the regions.

Tan Sri Datuk Ling is the brother of Ling Chiong Sing, Ling Chiong Pin and Mdm Ling Siu Chuo, Group Managing Director, Executive Director and Non-Independent Non-Executive Director of the Company respectively. Tan Sri Datuk Ling is deemed connected to Shin Yang Holding Sdn Bhd, one of the substantial shareholders of the Company.

Indirect Interest :55.03% (660,412,796 Ordinary Shares in SYSCORP)
He is deemed interested by virtue of his substantial interest in Shin Yang Holding Sdn Bhd, the major shareholder of SYSCORP.

He is deemed interested in various transactions between Shin Yang Holding Sdn Bhd Group and certain companies carried out in the ordinary course of business by virtue of his common directorship and/or shareholdings in these companies.
