@Panorama1 agreed with your points. Another main challenges for tobacco business is the demand for traditional tobacco Vs e-Cigarette. The drop of smokers statistic worldwide also influence investors from giving higher premium evaluation to tobacco company. Other than that, i think all negative point of views already price in at current BAT price level.

As long as BAT not privatize, you can actually buy it and enjoy the dividend for life.

Sold all my Carlsberg I bought in year 2018 yesterday @37.00 yesterday. I'm not saying that Carlsberg not good, just that all the positive factors already price in base on recent price rally. In fact investors already given much premium to Carlsberg Malaysia if you compare beer companies worldwide.

Many investors lost money because they follow the trend too closely. When the trend went down, they sold. When the trend down even more to almost bottom, they sold all. In fact this is the good time to accumulate for some business minded investors. Happy valentines day & investing :)
