The large volume is a game for a select group of market participants called proprietary day traders, or better known as stockists. This volume game of trading in stocks is not for retailers. It is only for the traders of the market where the risk and returns are high.

Their job is to trade for the brokerage as principals. They don’t have any clients. The stockists can buy and sell as much as they want in a day. There is no limit imposed.

They are not imposed any brokerage fees but have to pay stamp duty and clearing fee to Bursa Malaysia based on the value of trades done. The duty is capped at RM250 or less, while the clearing fee is minimal.

A brokerage will normally place their stockists in a room where they conduct their buying and selling operations with minimum disruptions. Even phone calls are restricted.

The stockists can short-sell stocks without having the shares in hand. But they have to cover their positions by buying back from the market before the end of the day’s trading.

The profit from buying and selling are shared between the brokerage and the stockist. Normally 60% goes to the brokerage and the trader gets 40%. However, an “ace stockist” can command up to 90% of the profits. But the stockist has to absorb all the losses.

Normally, the brokerage will hold the profits of the stockist and pay out only after a year. An ace stockist can earn RM10mil or more a year by just being a principal stockist for the company.

But there are limitations to what a stockist can do to generate the volume of stocks. They generally shy away from stocks that are more than RM1 and that have a small paid-up capital.

Apart from having to incur a higher clearing fee, normally stocks that are held tightly tend not to have enough shares in the market to generate the volume without causing a substantial rise in the price.

The typical targets for a stockist are stocks that are priced at less than RM1 and that have a large share capital.

Stockists hold an unfair advantage over the normal investors because they can short a stock or take long positions several bids higher.

This allows a few stockists to “gang up” and deliberately cause a panic sell-down of a particular stock........."

or unless in a no-time-to-loose situation the shark can push the price above 0.88 to 0.93 on Monday itself.....

@ Orion : Even tho i am very cautious of being "trapped" this round and thus has cashed out of the trading portion.....I am however still very very WATCHFUL just in case IF will turn uptrend to and do a longer distant run--- amidst the coming weeks treacherous market--see how it has lead all the other goreng counters (sumatec,pdz,perisai,knm........) during the last 13 days out of the long long sleeps...

Now (around 4pm) is the 2nd (down) testings of 0.815-0.81 if it successfully hold and dont break down again (3rd 0.815) next mon-tue..... I suspect the play will continue next week and more....i will then jump in back to trade some more...hope you can also make some $$$ ,,,,,,hahahahaha

Well aware that our stocks (as per KLCI) has been bearish since early May when the MA200 was crossed (1820) and that majority local banks forex-traders has been herding its "high-end customers" all over major cities in Malaysia into relentless shortings of RM from 3.60--3.80--4.20 and now aiming for 4.50--4.70--5.00.......taking full advantage of uncertainties that seems endless--

I am however,taking a contrarian view Now and has been doing fresh rounds of buyings since 24August-yesterday on my favourite stocks...and expecting the KLCI index to continue on its upward surge for another 8-10 days to cross MA20 (1638) thereby closing the first gap (1629-1635) on its path to 1670 for a gain of 150-170 points gain.

On SSEC/China crash and its failures to prop up the falls with multitude of measures -- i would not parrot the "blame-China" or bellittling-China games as spreaded by those talking-heads & anchors on CNBC/Bloomberg. 2 weeks down the road the SSEC shall reverse to shut the mouths of these ill-intentioned anti-China propagandists...which they have accustomed to during this last 20 years of China double-digits growth ...........

Remember all those bilis-bilis who are lucky to survive till now---buy low sell high--important to STAY IN THE GAME until 2-5 mths later--make sure you dont AWOS & MIS halfway--try stay in the game -- until the shark get the price back to 1.80--still long way to go!!!!

My suspicion today 's peak/close 0.88 --shark saying "huat huat" lah to himself , and maybe us......

KH -- to watch if it tight range 0.32-0.31 until close--
if so tomorrow's syndicate action : open gap up 0.33 and whole day run up 5cts to 0.38... 1st day of mutated-mind of H-syndicated action against KLCI trend,,,,

Be patient, no fear, good fighting chance ahead .......

so is all the Hs....weird illogical artificial manipulative syndicate counters today....all because of T+4 force-sellings squeezings ...

3 CONSISTENTLY good price-analysis (daily/trading/short-term) based on hard-works,efforts,experience & smartness that all of us (especially the bilis-bilis) has found HELPFUL...............

Those of us bilis-bilis who were caught at 1.80+ and has not been slaughtered by 0.50 Aug24-25 and have survived till today--all because we sat idlely through 1.80-1.87 believing in the syndicate-minions TP of $2-3 while the Great CROOK were happily dumping on us-----this is our 2nd chance or 2nd life of DANCING WITH THE CROOKWOLF....

So in saluting the genuine contributions of the REAL & BENEFICIAL sharings of the 3 hard-working bees--these are the honorable mentions--hope you all will keep up the good works and be with us through the dark and treacherous "NEXT 1.87" .... :---

Just don't be at the highs....when the music stops...buy at the lows a few rounds in out in out...take profit.. don't be greedy. Ringgit is still weak and it is not wise to keep chasing at the high ends. Be cautious always as I feel it is being 'goreng' and some kind of pump and dump. The frightening experience when it fell from 1.80 to 0.46 is one that cannot be forgotten.

with that kind of volume the force of raging bull is intact, keep re entering below 73 and cabut at 765 above, look like t3 on wednesday is NOT going to be heart wrenching dropping in prices ...however ,.. if it ever happen anything below 70 is worth the grab and keep..remember once it was at 1.85 not long ago..and there nothing dramatically wrong with the co .kikiki .risk all yours.

pretty good resistance. Remember. the stronger the resistance. the greater the support it is for the future. ....of course that is if it break this resistance. I suggest new comer Do Not get in now. wait till it break the resistance at 0.78 - 0.82. if it failed to break this, it will draw down 0.70, which is 10+% losses. for those with good margin already. ride the wave with confident.

I think C12 is ready now @ 0.21 for afternoon 2.30pm 5-7sens+ jump to 0.26-8?

Lowest got @0.29-0.30 . Similarly for G V W....This must be syndicate's T+4 squeezing-reversal. Will hold this for 2 weeks and see...

If H is meant as hedge of KLCI's fall, with today's big (morning)gains in KLCI, SSEC,DJI.....HK HG HV HW today reversal and any further uptrend gains must mean syndicate boss has MUTATED-MIND?

All the Hs are good buy now & tomorrow opening : HK G V 4 5.................................................

Tommorrow will open @ this price and sell down to 0.755 by mid noon....

KLCI should just stay high/green around 1584/5.....with a morning unsustained morning 5 points opening to close gap 1590 and then it's ALL THE WAY TOWARDS 1500!

So if we cant keep the Hs shares what else can we keep?

Agree. Look likes there are still 2-3 days stubborn steams remains for the syndicates' distributions--get out around 0.80-0.82...Most likely Wed sept09. Suspect this round of goreng because the syndicate wants to go on hibernation next 2 mths........ dont chase & dont be trapped!!!

KLCI should peak on wed 1577---fri 1573 afterwhich we should brace for the market plunge!!!!
