If the 2nd Qtr result can hit the net profit of $12.5 mils +/- (Eps of 4.1 cents +/-), then it should be good. Keep the figures cross.....

The 2nd and 3rd Qtr results should be good, what I concern is after that ! Anyway as long as they can maintain the growth and keep giving out the dividend as they promised (40-60% of the profit). I am more than happy to keep it for long term.

With the recent downgrade of property sector plus the recent new ruling implemented by Bank Negara on loan, it is going to hang around like that for a while. Don't expect too much.

The 3.8 cents is for FY 2011.
For FY 2012, 2 cents already given on Jan and there will be another 3.3 cents pending the announcement of the Ex date and payment date.
So for FY 2012 the total dividend will be 5.3 cents.

Just to share some experience,
I bought Tambun around $0.83 and I start to lock some profit when the price shot up to $1.36-$1.40, I sold 40% of my holding just to play safe a bit. Where as I am planning to hold the remaining 60% for long term unless the company stop to show the expected growth % that I expected, or the big economy environment/Malaysia property market has some major changes.
I bought back some yesterday @ $1.25 (cause I think the price is attractive).
At the moment, I am still consider Tambun is undervalue cause :-
(1) Conservatively this year estimate EPS would be around $0.16 (included the the dilution of 70 mils newly issued share). With the PE 8 then the price should be $1.28, it the PE is 10 then the price should be $1.6 !
(2) Dividend yield %, assume with the EPS of $0.16 and 40% return rate then dividend with be 6.4 cents and the Div % would be around 5% ( I m using $1.28 as the current share price). which is reasonably good %.
(3) Additional plus point of the land bank in Batu Kawan, 2nd Penang Bridge and good pick up rate on the Pearl City's project, as well as recent 100% own up the subsidiary company from Nadayu.
Howeveras what garydonald21 said it take times to unlock the value, I am looking at 6-9 months time, maybe with some luck the price might test $1.5.
Besides, I have a friend bought Tambun around the same time and he sold 100% at the price of $1.40 and switch his $$ to other counter and overall he make better return % compare to me as at this moment.
So, the bottom line is, how to access the counter it depend on what is your investment style and your capital limitations & expectation.

Then what is your expected return % for this investment ?? What is the value you think this counter worth ?? and hong long you willing to park your $$ with this counter ???
I guess after asking yourself these questions, maybe you will have a better idea on what is the next course !!

ESOS just another way to reward employee, it normally won't have any impact on the share price. The price drop is due to US and China market, as well as commodities prices slump.

I rather think that it will hang around $1.30 +/- for short term. Mid term provided with a good 2nd Qtr results and stable market condition, the price might test $1.50. Anyway just my personal opinion.

Not only the EPS, The purchase will also dilute the NTA about $0.10/share !!
Besides the 55 mils share issue out as part of the purchase consideration, there will be another 15 mils share will be issued as private placement, both the issue price is $1.30.
The cash flow, debts and gearing position all are affected.

GEORGE TOWN, June 19 (Bernama) -- Property developer, Tambun Indah Land Bhd, plans to spend RM100 million to RM200 million in capital expenditure (capex) this year to buy more land.
Managing director Teh Kiak Seng said the group was actively scouting for land in Penang especially in Seberang Perai.
"We will spend to expand our landbank based on the opportunities that arise," he told reporters after the group's annual general meeting today.
Teh said the group planned to add about 200 acres to 300 acres of land to the current 562 acres of undeveloped land in Seberang Perai Selatan.
"We're currently talking to a few landowners in Seberang Perai but so far nothing has been confirmed," he said.
Teh also said the group had secured about 70 per cent take-up rate on its ongoing projects.
"We're expecting our projects -- Taman Bukit Residence, Camellia Park and Seri Permai -- with a total gross development value of RM114 million to be completed by this year," he said.
He said the group's unbilled sale totalled RM425 million as at March and it is expected to contribute to the group's earnings over the next two to three years.
Teh said the group was poised for better growth this year, driven by Penang's booming property market.
He said the property market in Penang's mainland is expected to grow, boosted by the completion of the Penang Second Bridge project.
"Following the skyrocketing property prices on Penang Island, many Penangites have opted to buy properties on the mainland, this has increased our property sales, especially our current projects in Seberang Perai Selatan," he said.
Tambun Indah Land's pre-tax profit rose 32.1 per cent to RM23.98 million in the first quarter ended March 31, 2013 from RM18.15 million in the same period last year.
Its revenue increased 18.7 per cent to RM78.32 miilion from RM65.99 million previously.
Teh said the revenue growth was mainly derived from newly launched projects -- Pearl Residence and Pearl Indah 3 -- on Penang's mainland and Straits Garden on Penang island.

This is what I like, total issue share is only 270+ mils and all the bosses are holding around 70%+, institutions holding another 10-15%, so share available in the open market is not that much. So, when it want to fly, it will be very fast.

This year dividend better, as previous year is 8% gross (net only 6 cents), this year is the combo of 3.5% + 4.5% (net 7.125cent). The lower net profit is due to defer tax issue. The results still ok, but nothing to shout for.

KAHFIEHLAI - Tambun is for long term holding I bought them around $0.80+, although I did locked some profit at $1.39/$1.40, I will still hold majority of it as long as they can keep their Revenue and profit at the expected growth rate. Let say they can keep the EPS around 15 cents then dividend should be around 6-8 cents, which is still reasonable good yield.
Whereas for KFima, i m not sure how long it will take, with some good Qtr results and good dividend declare, i guess it shouldn't be more than 1 year.

1st Qtr EPS is 3.77 cents and let say we annualise it, it will be round 15 cents ! PE 8 or 10 is all depend on how you judge on the company's future business growth. I like the counter is despite the growth potential, their dividend policy also very attractive (40-60% profit) !

Pearl City houses is selling like a hot cake, once the 2nd Bridge open the 500 acre land near Batu Kawan own by tambun holding will turn to into gold. I m still positive on this counter, but some profit taking is expected soon.
