Today happened to buy in MAA before closing. Saw Q2 result out earlier, more than 281 million profit, broke history. Econbhd Q2 result is better than my expectation, increased in revenue and profit, they have proven their worthiness again. A good company with fundamental, congrats!

This high profit for Q2 is attributed by sales of MAA Takaful? If without it, how much profit/loss the company is making?

Usually gap up is a result by people buying at higher price before opening due to potential upside. I did asked my remiser before, he said there were cases where company reported high earnings but next day share prices remained the same before factoring in investor's bid.
