Directors sold because of cease of spons

KUALA LUMPUR (May 15): MIDF Amanah Investment Bank Bhd will cease to be the sponsor of medical equipment provider LKL International Bhd with effect from tomorrow (May 16, 2020), as LKL has successfully maintained the services of a sponsor for at least three financial years since its listing. This is in accordance with Bursa Malaysia listing rules.

"On behalf of the board of directors of LKL, MIDF is pleased to inform that the company has successfully complied with Rule 3.21(1) of the ACE Market Listing Requirements of Bursa, whereby an applicant must secure and maintain the services of a sponsor for at least 3 full financial years after its admission to the official list of Bursa.

"Therefore, MIDF shall cease to act as the sponsor of the company with effect from May 16, 2020,” MIDF said in LKL’s filing with Bursa today.

LKL’s Bursa filings indicate that the company was listed on the ACE Market on May 16, 2016. LKL’s initial public offering (IPO) involved a public issue of 113 million new shares at 20 sen each, the filings showed.

Alliance Investment Bank Bhd was the principal adviser, sponsor, sole underwriter and placement agent for LKL’s IPO then, according to LKL.

On July 15, 2019, LKL said the company and Alliance had come to a mutual agreement on the resignation of Alliance as the sponsor of LKL with effect from July 16, 2019.

"In replacement thereof, MIDF had been appointed as the new sponsor of the company with effect from July 16, 2019,” LKL said

Good for chickens to run and for others to collect. Is this even news of importance? Perhaps b4 get free services now have to pay a bit la. With the increase in sales profit also increase.

For a company that makes 700 to 800 million is sales, 35 million PBT is really nothing to shout about. If the speculation is that they are supplying this and that to the glove makers well the financials will show. Otherwise, ..... They aren't the only supplier of chemicals used by the glove makers. The margins show it.

Kenie If you look at the times the big conversion has taken place, the share price has been flat. Example, 13 Dec 2019 (Double the amount) ,23 Dec 2019, 10 Jan 2020, the share price has been flat. Looks like there is a clear attempt to create fear and panic. LOL Check facts first don't shoot mouth off.

scott88 KUALA LUMPUR (April 22): Trading in shares in HLT Global Bhd surged this morning as investors took interest in the glove-dipping line manufacturer after it announced yesterday it would be distributing Covid-19 rapid test kits around the world.

The stock, which rose as much as 8% earlier this morning, pared some of its gains and was up one sen or 3.85% at 27 sen at 9.53am, with some 18.14 million shares traded. In comparison, the volume traded exceeded its 200-day average volume of 1.31 million shares.

Over the past one year, the counter grew some 93% from 14 sen. This brings its market capitalisation to RM135.67 million.

In a filing to Bursa Malaysia yesterday, HLT said its wholly-owned unit HL Advance Technologies (M) Sdn Bhd has entered into a distributor agreement with Accobiotech Sdn Bhd for the distribution of Covid-19 rapid test kits around the world for an initial period of one year starting from April 20, 2020 until April 20, 2021.

The contract shall be renewable upon terms and conditions to be agreed upon between the parties, said HLT.

Say whatever you want, overbought overpriced over valued. All glove counters have beaten that. Look at Comfort which was 80 sen 4 to 5 weeks ago and now? The Covid-19 pandemic has thrown all those theories and logic out the window. I am happy for those who are sitting on a nice pile of cash. A year's salary!!!!!!
