Careplus proposes 1-for-2 bonus issue

KUALA LUMPUR (Apr 2): ACE Market-listed rubber glovemaker Careplus Group Bhd has proposed a one-for-two bonus issue of 170 million new shares of 10 sen each to reward existing shareholders.

“The board of is of the view that the proposed bonus issue of shares is the most appropriate avenue of rewarding the existing shareholders of the company while at the same time enhance the company’s capital base,” said Careplus in a filing with Bursa Malaysia today.

The company added that the corporate exercise should encourage better trading liquidity of Careplus shares on the local bourse and greater participation by investors as well as potentially broadening the shareholder base of the company.

The entitlement date will be determined and announced at a later date after all the relevant approvals for the proposed bonus issue have been obtained.

The corporate exercise is expected to be completed by the second quarter of this year.

Careplus shares closed up 1 sen or 1.87% at 54.5 sen today, giving it a market capitalisation of RM128.08 million.

From mid March certain counters have been in play be O&G, Tech and the longest one glove makers. Choose wisely and you will be rewarded. Just like Supermax will be heading to RM 4, small little Careplus touch RM 1 is good enough for me. At this point for me already close to 3x of my initial investment in this counter. Glove counters are the pick in the coming months. Look at the regression curve still untrend

It is clearly stated on the Ansell website it is 37 million. Based on what we seem expansion is on track to increase capacity as they have unused space and capacity. Yu_and_Mee better sell.

What is wrong in them wanting to convet shares to cash? It is called monetizing. After all they have a lot of shares. Tell you what, you watch while we enjoy. EPF sell cannot, KWAP sell cannot.



kfliau I maybe wrong. How are you going to justify every single director selling their holding? The only logical answer is they deemed this is a good price to sell. If they are trimming their heavy holdings, well and fine. How are you going to justify the other small holding directors dumped until zero? Something fishy isn't it?

Old fox got burnt yet again due to his stubbornness ie Jaks, HY and Dayang.

Singapore govt thought they had it under control but then had to do CB or CCB. Please take care of yourself. Even my company has informed us to continue to work from home for now till May 12th. Most companies do not have a BCP (Business Continuity Plan) or SOP. For example, we take our car for service, what are the steps service provide has or will take? Will they sanitize the whole car when we receive it? Too many question marks.

Before this old fox turned up publicly, people have been buying at lower prices. I bought towards the end of March. The moment that old fox came in and started making statements, I decided to take profit at a nice margin. Old fox should just keep silent.

Please take note, that old fox doesn't do much analysis someone else does. The moment he enters any counter, do your own research and TP don't depend on this old fox. I never did and never will
